Epigenetics is hardly substantiated so far.
It might exist in some ways, but it is very up in the air and is often claimed to work in a certain way by those that are not scientifically rigorous.
Someone wrote a letter to Charles Darwin to tell him that circumcision proves his theory wrong
> While writing permit me to ask whether your attention has been called to the bearing of circumcision on your doctrines. It is I presume about the most marked methodical & persistent mutilation of which there is any historical record either in the human species or the lower animals. Yet, practised for not far from 3000 years, so far as I know it has left not a trace of its effect in the male children of the present day. I have not had any special opportunity to observe it but I have good reason to suppose that the prepuce of the israelites of today is of the ordinary size. Indeed the Continuance of the rite itself is a proof that it is at least not a rudimentary organ. So far as it goes it seems to me to be a fair historical argument against your views. I only suggest it & with your habitual fairness—a fairness so unusual in the founder of a new doctrine & so much the more to be admired—I know you will give it due weight (From W. W. Keen, 1874).
I believe Lamarckism is the end stage of Darwinism. Eventually some animal will mutate the ability to encode aquired features in their gamete's dna and they will quickly become the ultimate lifeforms.
thats basically what human culture is. we can live anywhere with breathable air. anywhere. thats what culture and technology is. basically in the moment adaptation. see how in just a few hundred years we went from 90% subsistance farmers to massive industrialized nations with advanced medicine and science.
In that same span of time we went to the moon.
thats the ultimate lifeform right there baby. nothing more powerful than that
Aka epigenetics
Not the same thing at all, and epigenetic effects are basically nonexistent.
Will epigenetics be one of the next pillars of "I freaking love science!!!"?
Nope. Epigenetics is still reliant on the genes. And environment, but that's a given.

Why don't israelites get born without foreskins after who knows how many years of practicing infant circumcision?
Because there is no functional difference. There is a difference between having muscles and not.
Why would the theory only apply to muscle development and not other bodily features?
There are no "features" only function.
So if someone had both their legs off they would have children without legs?

The irony is that strength is a trait with lower heritability than most others.
