The vices to which I and many others are enslaved- internet, pornography, and video games- are perversions of the natural impulse to greatness exemplified by the Priest, the Warrior, and the Poet.
The Priest desires to gain insight and deeper understanding of the world, but a would-be Priest's learning is perverted by the information overload of the Internet and the frivolous distractions it thrusts in front of its users.
The Warrior desires to surmount his limitations and gain victory, but video games provide cheap virtual thrills which tap into the competitive impulse and allow one to achieve wins by proxy while not having to face the difficulties of the the real world.
And finally the Poet desires to create, but this creative force is transmuted and destroyed by pornography, which warps the natural sexual impulse rooted life-creation and into a voyeuristic, disgusting compulsion.
I suggest the holy trinity of IQfy self-actualization would be to take these three archetypes and embody them in activities of one's choosing: an intellectual pursuit (Priest), a competitive (or agonistic) hobby (Warrior), and a craft (Poet).
What will you choose to overcome distraction and unreality?

In my case, I would choose to
>study Wittgenstein
>play soccer
>write short stories and maybe learn to draw
baudelaire was a simping paypig for several famous sex worker's at the time and literally begged his mom to take him back as a grown ass man but she wouldn't have him neeting around
Source ?
>baudelaire was a simping paypig for several famous sex worker's at the time and literally begged his mom to take him back as a grown ass man but she wouldn't have him neeting around
Yeah but he was fricking rich and had infinite money, I don't.
I'm sure this was revelatory to you and you fount it illuminating, helpful and insightful, but please leave such horseshit to yourself and don't make threads about it on IQfy as it does not pertain to literature and is clearly your own blog nobody but you wants to read.
And no, internet fragmenting your attention and you being a porn addict isn't the source of all of your woes, it's only the most surfaced level aspect of what plagues you. Dig deeper, dig better.
I wager OP will start spouting Nietzsche and Evola very soon.
I’m not following how pornography stifles creativity.
In my case, I would choose to
>study Plato, Plotinus, Iamblichus and Proclus
>do wrestling or bjj
>learn to draw and play chuniri/hisyn
I'm none of those three. But I'm also not in a profession. What would Baudelaire think of NEETs?
I literally can not stop putting my dick inside morbidly obese women
I don't understand your vices. What are they distracting you from?
>The Priest desires to gain insight and deeper understanding of the world, but a would-be Priest's learning is perverted by the information overload of the Internet and the frivolous distractions it thrusts in front of its users.
So, reading too much gets in the way of learning? Just read what you are interested in.
>The Warrior desires to surmount his limitations and gain victory, but video games provide cheap virtual thrills which tap into the competitive impulse and allow one to achieve wins by proxy while not having to face the difficulties of the the real world.
What real world victories are video games distracting you from?
>And finally the Poet desires to create, but this creative force is transmuted and destroyed by pornography, which warps the natural sexual impulse rooted life-creation and into a voyeuristic, disgusting compulsion.
What possible connection is there between looking at porn and creativity? If ten minutes of fapping is enough to deter you from creative pursuits, I think there is some larger problem.
Wow you're actually moronic. Reading isn't necessarily learning, the abundance of material to read is essentially impossible to read. If you spend all your time reading you aren't spending enough time thinking
Your argument on the warrior is absolute fricking moronic
Finally your point on the poet and sexuality shows your lack of ability to be distracted, as in you have never created anything. >ten minutes of flapping
Thats not what he is describing, you're a Black person
Baudelaire was a troon. He use to put on makeup and nail polish. His essay on Dandy is one of the most gayest essays ever penned. He support make up, excess and artifice over natural. He was an anti-modest unapologetic hedonistic escapist.
In current times he would have supported cosmetic surgery, troons, transhumanism and bimbos. Disgusting.
You don't deserve to read Baudelaire.
I’m all three of those things and more.
>tfw Priest, Warrior, Poet, and Speedrunner
Chad
What's the best translation for his Flowers of Evil?
False chad. Old hags are not women, they are old hags, and as such should not be subjected to any kind of slander or violence or any other things which would be perfectly suitable for women.
>Priest, Warrior and the [self-insert]
What's the point of teaching if the people are plebs anyway?
I read the first sentence and already knew you were a pseud
>w-we re like the same deal you and m-me y-you know? Ha ha
Said the poet to the warrior 5 seconds before getting slaughtered
>warrior rapes the poets sister
>let's priest watch for tattling on the poet
I think you might be misunderstanding something. And stop thinking about rape all the time
I am not, just not romanticising warriors from my ivory tower either
>le archetypes
>The Priest desires to gain insight and deeper understanding of the world, but a would-be Priest's learning is perverted by the information overload of the Internet and the frivolous distractions it thrusts in front of its users.
Story of my life
what will you do OP?
Also, books for this feel ?
Well in terms of the embodying the Warrior archetype I have some Japanese blood so in terms of that I want to study Samurai culture and lift weights to make changes to my physique (Bruce Lee a big influence too). In terms of the Poet, I am really into music, jazz and classical in particular, so my course of action will be to finally learn some theory and write some music, maybe an album, and upload it online. For the Priest, I've always been interested in art history and how it corresponds to what advancements in technology had occurred at the same time so maybe looking into that would be a fun project.
>books for this feel?
One that comes to mind is Peter Sloterdijk's You Must Change Your Life. Nietzsche and Jung express similar ideas, I think, with the latter emphasizing archetypes more.
>What will you choose to overcome distraction and unreality?
Höhöhöhö ... 🙂
I study philosophy, play sports, and do construction work.
>Priest: Finance
>Warrior: Art of Seduction / Game
>Poet: Machine Learning for Finance (it counts kek)
>vgh I'd be such a priest coded tradcore evropan if society didn't force me to watch porn
Frick outta here.
