The UK did most of the job against Napoleon

And I'm tired people pretend otherwise.

Napoleon had iron cannons. Side with more artillery or cavalry always wins.

Other than, you know, being constantly at war with him (from 1803 till the end) destroying his navy, fighting in Spain where his best troops were, financing all coalitions against him...

wtf are you on about. the eastern theatre against prussia, austria and russia was by far the much more important theatre of the war. Nappy sent a few good generals to fight in spain but that was about it. he basically thought if he sent in a great general it'll all be taken care of, no matter how shit his troops in spain were.

About 300 000 soldiers were in Spain. Do you realize how huge this is? There is a reason Austria tried to attack in 1809 and Napoleon had to react quickly with fresh troops, since his veterans were in Spain

Austria attacked when Napoleon himself and the main Grande Armee were in Spain
The British had just dunkirked out of Spain in fear, terrified at the idea of facing Napoleon

It was a totally different situation from the one at the moment when Brits started getting successful in the Peninsula (1812 onward)
