People who usually say that tend to be the kind who consider that Etruscans, Trojans, Sumerians, Natives Americans, even the damn ANE wuz Turks and that's there exists a whole plot which goal is to hide the fact that Turks actually invented civilization. So that's gonna be 'yikes' for me.

He's not right in any way. All of R1a in the existence came from IE related groups, be it from Eastern Europe or Central Asia. But still Indo-European related. R1a is not like R1b. - The only R1a is IE in origin.

Turks may cope all they want, they are mostly Anatolian anyway, not even Turkic.

this is funny cause Yamnaya didn't contribute to anything, let alone europe

maybe in the mind of joomers and golems, but definitely not irl, bell beakers R1b subclade isn't related to yamnaya

Nah. There are probably some non-IE subclades. In fact, some Euro HGs had them I think.

Probably not, there is very little R1a that isn't under z645.
In pre-eneolithic samples it also tended be localized further west than R1b (Ukraine/Baltics)

You need subclades. It might be something non-IE.

Yup, M73 probably isn't Indo-European, but maybe came from Europe. Some Baltic HGs have ancestral clades, it also shows up in Botai.
