Nothing in that DM suggests that it will definitely stop working, they can maintain the older API just like Furryfox is promising, which is exactly the official response:

firefox is faster for me it east shitload of ram much worse than chrome ever did. Keeping the browser or user session open for more than 3 days easily fills 6gb ram which is stupid as hell. Also sometimes it hangs itself if you open a media file so close the window open a new one to fix it. Still faster than chrome though.

Noscript or FF + Strict mode
uBO on Medium or Hard mode is almost identical to uMatrix, and considering there's partitioning in FF strict mode, esp. with custom user.js, you don't need uMatrix
          uM is snake oil nowadays

            uBO can't
            >block ANY cookies
            >block ANY CSS (enjoy making connections to shitty big tech CDNs when you don't need them)
            >block specific images (either go without images or enjoy your tracking pixels, goy)
            >block ANY media
            >no control over XHR, 1st-party frames, other content
            >set rules for specific TLDs (useful for mass-blocking/allowing govt, darknet, specific countries, etc)
            >set rules for specific subdomains (such as allowing content for addons.mozilla.org but not mozilla.org in general)

browsers can easily handle cookie blocking, css is a meme, it can do specific images and tracking pixels, media is irrelevant, no reason to mess with 1st party frames or XHR which is just launched by scripts to begin with

I have never seen a built-in cookie setting as effortless as opening uMatrix, clicking the upper half of what you want to allow, refreshing, and locking when it works.
You can be fingerprinted with CSS.
Maybe uBO does block tracking pixels, but the menu doesn't give you any choice of what images to block, only all or none globally or per-site.
            >media is irrelevant
            >uhhh you don't need to do that, serf. You VILL load what media we put on our page.
            Fricking pitiful cope.
And there are times when scripts are needed but XHR and frames are not. There's no reason not to give the user control over that as well.

uBO is just a Fischer-Price uMatrix

            Anonymous

            >You can be fingerprinted with CSS.

I really want to migrate to Vivaldi but there's just too much jank and has a bad UI, is there anything I can do to make it better? like a mod or skin?
