It would make sense in explaining our axial tilts and our common myths, it's a little bit hard to imagine it happened in the last 70,000 years as he suggests, but we do know that Ceres and Triton drifted in from the Kuiper Belt and that our Moon is drifting away from Earth
What do you think?
It makes more sense then most of the other alternative hypothesis that try to explain common global mythology and planetary axial tilts, and it would fit with the ice age extinction event
I would say it's feasible but far from proven
It's more of theory than science per say
>our Moon is drifting away from Earth
That's due to tidal forces, nothing weird about it. It's a consequence of the earths spinning in the same direction as the moon orbits, but ~30x faster.
He suggests that Venus formed with Uranus and that the same process occurring to our Moon broke Venus out of the orbit of Uranus and sent it spiraling into its current orbit over 70,000 years, he also suggests this is what gave rise to many common global myths, and that Venus passed through the Asteroid belt in 10,000 BC causing the asteroid impact that ended the ice age
It's pretty Intresting, theory seems solid, Timeline is a hit less convincing in my opinion
He makes a solid point about The Big Bang Theory basically being plagarized from the Greco-Roman creation story found in Metamorphoses
It feels far fetched, but it's a lot more realistic then the Ancient Aliens shit the government seems to be pushing
I'd recommend it, sucks it's only on Amazon though, I miss bookstores
>the Ancient Aliens shit the government seems to be pushing
Meds
History Channel is certainly pushing it, and now they are holding congressional hearings on UFO's, it's good to be skeptical of people in power, espically when there is no negative consequence to doing so
>history channel is the government
the absolute state of american education
>Congressional hearings aren't the government
Not to mention
>Everything on American Television has been regulated since the 1930s
cable TV isn't regulated by the FCC, frickwit.
https://www.fcc.gov/general/cable-television-0
Debunked by the FCC
Debunked by the existence of HBO
Debunked by bunk beds
That's true but honestly how longer do you think it will be before they try to blame gas prices on an alien invasion? Inmates are running the asylum, I knownits a cliche but I mean just look at our government now, it's hard to belive 2012 was a decade ago, it was different world
>congressional hearings on UFO's,
Yes, but not ancient aliens. Also there is a keen difference between UFOs and aliens anyway. The UFOs are likely terrestrial CIA/Chinese bullshit.
>doesn't fall for a conspiracy theory
>could walk away as a sane person
>instead makes up another conspiracy theory that says the government made up the first conspiracy theory
Holy shit, lads. This is a whole different type of schizo. OP, if I ever meet you in real life, watch your back because I'm gonna throw a pokeball at you.
oh frick, they have reloaded Velikovsky. prepare for levels of stupid not previously thought possible.
>saturn was a rogue sun
>venus was a moon of uranus
>all of these planetary migrations happened within the age of man
>muh eclectic israeliteniverse
it seems really unlikely that it would get pulled into a near circular orbit around the sun if it were a moon
in the past 10k years? frick no
it's vaguely possible when you look back several billion years though
