Every thread was basically either homework requests or stoners trying to get anyone to respond to their vague aesthetic word salad about time and consciousness and occasionally a grad student might respond dismissively and condescendingly but generally nothing.
Why do truly smart people not kill themselves? If you were truly intelligent you would quickly realize that everything is pointless and irrelevant. Not even in a depressive way but more just acknowledging objective reality. You would also realize that your desire to live is just a preprogrammed biological response that carries no weight. In fact you would realize that suicide is the only choice you could ever make as an autonomous and sovereign being since it violates the prime directive of your biology.
Because as a truly intelligent person I realize there is nothing after death, just a black void.
