The elites don't want you to humanize the past. They don't want you to know they were just like us. Think of all of the nations felled by people over the ages. People like this. People like us.

A proper man should be plowing his fields during the day, and his woman during the night. Technology is just a distraction from your real purpose.

My real purpose is to make video dames. If your highest calling in life is tilling the soil and fricking a sow at night that's fine but to be honest that is also the way a beaver lives and I have higher aspirations than to live like a beaver.

        >but to be honest that is also the way a beaver lives and I have higher aspirations than to live like a beaver.
Do they really? Can they experience the joy of triumphing over nature, conquering it? Growing food and resources for your family, your community and more? Can beavers experience love and raising a family with the woman they love? Is it really a life you look down to when you yourself live like a mole looking at your screen whole day long pointlessly typing some code in a dim lighted office or basement? You got it all wrong.my good man, hope you will realize this one day.

What a silly thing to say. Animals exist only for our convenience. They can't think or experience emotions like humans do.

As the word implies it should be expressed to be counted as an experience. It was the same with savages before civilized men taught them to think and feel, they were just like animals.

I still have a soft spot for that in my heart. All those colourful icons, warm brown theme, etc. it truly was a better time.

These days all you get are cold, black-and-white-only, sterile designs. For mobile, you know (even if you're using it on an actual desktop computer, with no mobiles in sight). Zero creativity. You don't always even know what you can click and what not, because everything out-of-the-line has been destroyed in the name of "minimalism".

Imagine how nice it would be if the world didn't enter clown dimension in 2016. Like what if we were just living in a world like 2012 and no clown world anti-christ shenanigans except maybe just the popular music got shitter and windows became a web app and so on. We could have such a cozy time. No trannies infesting foss, no homos in churches, no chinese flu, no arbritary censorship online, two genders, no drag queen story hours, no dilating. I hope one day we can return to a normal world. Not that much to ask, I think we'll get there yet. One day the white man is coming home.

The people who want to be stuck in some nostalgic point forever are pathetic. If everyone thought like you we would be living in caves.

Weak bait but I'll bite. Progress in not just time going by. It means something to the effect of "improvements toward a desirable goal over time". Obviously progress is good. I don't think things getting uglier and worse is progress.

I didn't claim time equals to progress. What you describe is the textbook definition of conservatism. You want things to remain things as they are in certain fixed point. You don't want it to get better, you don't want it to go in another progress direction. You just want it to remain as it is. And that is a dangerously backward way of looking at things.

Nice shitty straw man. Conservatism is to preserve what works, and to only adopt new things if they're vetted and proven to be better. Leftism is to just throw out anything old because it's old, and to chop your dick off and dilate yourself because that's progress.

Do you have any clue about what those words mean?

I'm not a conservative. Conservatives are full off literal trannies and homosexuals. I'm just smart and pragmatic. I like traditions that serve a clear and well defined purpose (unix philosophy, Black person) and I dislike change for the purpose of accomodating some gay fricking Black person shit or giving some rich old white guy (that's slang for a israelite) more money and cheap labor. You sound like an actual redditor, go back.

Progress is not inherently good. Cancer also progresses. If you have cancer, it is good to want to go back to a state pre-cancer.

On Linux to install additional desktop environment are very easy. If you are nostalgic for Gnome 2 DE, then just install MATE. MATE are forked from Gnome, when they [Gnome devs] switched to development of Gnome 3.
