pagan religions preached destructive weakness and sin, it was inevitable that they would be annihilated by men of real virtue and will

And now, those men of "real virtue and will" are being destroyed by trannies and Semites, very good let's all have a round of applause for Christcuck Imperium

There's no "paganism", that's a slur by Abrahamic adherents to describe everyone else. It's like barbarian was for the Greek, just a word for The Other.
And since not every successful thing was done by Abrahamists, we can't say that "paganism" failed.

There's no such thing as pagan, that's a slur. The various faiths called paganism are very different from each other, often contradictory. For your purposes, as a trendy Twitter tradcath zoomer who doesn't even go to church, the word pagan just means non-christian. Its so all encompassing as to be meaningless.
Do you include Aristotle, Plato, Socrates? Do you include the Hellenic pantheon and its worshippers, and the Egyptian pantheon and its worshippers, and the Norse pantheon and its worshippers, and the Skyfather worshippers of the steppe, and the Zoroastrians, and the Mithraists, and the various Indian and Chinese philosophies/religions? Are you even aware of these, which are all foundations of civilizations?

Christianity doesn't preach machismo. While the manlier pagans got themselves killed, Christianity quietly spread among the women and weak men based on the message that it's OK to be meek

so basically paganism was for low iq morons who self-eliminate themselves entirely because how stupid they are and incorrect their values are

It didn't fail. Kings adopted Christianity, more often than not in name only, for trade benefits. Over time Christianity morphed and split into different versions.

paganism would have had a renaissance if it wasn't for two things:
The artificial "celtic" culture invented in the 19th century
    The Nazis.

These two groups utterly sabotaged paganism.
Despite men like Tolkien almost single handedly reviving it.

      >These two groups utterly sabotaged paganism.
if that is a problem, which it isn't outside of ~~*politically correct "history"*~~, then it is only because the israelite controlled media has "sabotaged" everything which isn't slavish adherence to the Judeo-Roman worldview. nothing to do with "Nazis". Nothing to do with "Celts"

        Anonymous

No and you are an idiot. Nazis perverted Germanic paganism and tainted it in the eyes of the world. It became a convenient rhetorical tool by Marxists to attack westerners.
"celticism" is simply a we wuz movement that culturally appropriates real European culture and represents it as an inauthentic bad imitation.

If paganism is supposed to be an alternative to the predicament of modernity then Nazis should be cel brated for their treatment of it.

Tolkien was a devout Christian, and if he had been warned that his work would inspire neopagans somehow, despite the extremely obvious Christian undertones, he would have not written a single line.

Greeks were already disillusioned with their gods during the Peloponnesian War when soldiers on all sides started killing people in sactuary and weren't struck down by the gods.

Pagans, just like Atheists today, had a low birthrate so they ended up getting outbred by Christians. As simple as that.

developments like neoplatonism and divine simplicity lead to the gradual shift away from paganism, in the polytheistic sense anyway. even by the end of the pagan period of rome, religious developments like Sol Invictus basically spelled the end for "traditional" paganism. Christianity was just the final nail in the coffin

If anything, Christianity went into paganism later, which led to the European resurgence.

There was an Egyptian pagan movement too, but the secular dictator involved got rekt by islamists. Same with Saddam and his Babylon thing. Arabs looking to preislamic past for something to anchor the nation into, that isn't an international universalist religion.
