If we have the ability to make something perfect, why not do it? Nature isn't perfect but we constantly want to move it towards that goal. Imagine losing a close person in a plane crash and the airline company be like nature isn't perfect bruh
it actually does, the ubuntu and macos cursor is perfectly aligned and dear god it looks exponentially better, ironically more natural than the windows cursor
The original's edge connects to the middle instead of the border between yellow and green.
Both of them are geometric but in different ways, that image is moronic
> op's so mentally disabled that he's never had to create a mouse cursor before
zoomers truly are the most technologically crippled apes this world has ever seen.
You can never make a 4 in hand knot perfectly straight, but whoever did that particular one either has Parkinson's disease or is clinically moronic. Holy shit.
it's like with letter spacing and some graphic design stuff, visual perception stuff magic that doesn't "make sense" if you don't look at the big picture
somewhat related (ignore the self-made cursor part): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YThelfB2fvg
Nature isn't perfect and things that aren't perfect often look more natural.

change it yourself and see it doesnt look as good

>macos cursor is perfectly aligned
You sure?
It's not
It's just better visually balanced.
your mother is better visually balanced
Mine too?
No, sorry.
Thanks.
it's an optical illusion. sometimes unnoticeable imperfection looks better to the eye.

holy ugly Black person cope
you wouldn’t understand

why does it matter tho?

To torture OCD-ridden subhuman trash, pretty obviously.
It's a silhouette of something 3D
Anon ily
>we have a pointing device called mouse
what a moment in history
after watching this video it is actually more like this
>actually more like this
So essentially absolutely nothing is aligned? I guess it is barely in the plane of the screen.
I enjoyed it, thank you anon.
this has nothing to do with why the tail isn't aligned. i knew some zoomer would post this video not understanding the question
To annoy OCDs.
Absolutely devilish.
big yikes
Neither are geometric
Frick off moron you ruined my day
It needs to be tilted because it's a right hand. The whole reason arrows work in the first place, cuz they look like arms and hands
a PNG of the arm would make a great pointer
Could you make the cursor so huge that the arm always goes off-screen?
ughh annoying
Its easier to use this way.
Lining up a single line is easier than lining up the intersection of two lines
Nothing beats the default/standard arrow. All other designs are inferior.
Perfection.
Windows Black.
BTFO
what, your pointer isn't crooked off to one side? what a virgin
Way back in the XP days I used that stardock cursor pack with the spinning gear one. It always felt more precise compared to the microsoft pointer.
Let me present to you the superior cursor
nice d scim bro
Evil
Because it is just a fancy square, nobody cares.
Wrong board
ITT: IQfy discovers optical alignment
Graphic designers are not devs. Devs would not do this.
Because companies like Microsoft have been suing over details like cursors since the 80's.
If you write an app that uses the system cursor, you're okay.
Make your own, and it looks close to the Windows cursor, you may get an angry letter from MS's legal department.
And yes, it happens. MS spent all of the 80's and 90's trying to lock down keyboard shortcuts, and sued over them.
Dunno but heres a cool video: https://youtu.be/YThelfB2fvg
shoulda watched this video first before posting OP
Because people don't perceive tilted objects symmetrically
Use main.cpl to change the cursor back to the pre pozzed version
A mouse pointer can be whatever you want. You obviously think there's some rule to it, but there isn't. Your opinions don't matter.
