Syintax is bad you write a bunch of text to do a simple thing that doesnt make it easier to read.Everything is an object in a bad way Ruby does it in a good way. That all wouldnt be that bad if it wasnt always combined with some shitty framework like Spring.

It's not syntax, it's boilerplate. Syntax is typical C-like, nothing special.
But why care about boilerplate, if some gradle shits out it for you.

I dont like boilerplate or graddle.Anything that puts an extra layer of abstraction between me and the code.Especialy Gradle you know maven was used before gradle for me it was simpler but in the end the same shit whole idea is stupid having a machine generate bunch of code for you that you dont fully folow.I dont really like c syintax but thats just me.
I unironically love Java, such a comfy language to write in. The only downside is it is verbose but when I write Java code I feel like it's actually safe.
I usually hate on windows but windows phone was great it was like you are on a pc and you could hook it up .It was like windows without all the garbage legacy code .And I bet it wasnt hard to to write apps for it .I think they just lost due to being late even when you could run android apps in virtual machine.I hate android so much it is built on linux but has nothing to do with linux.
>why do Java jobs still exist in fricking 2022 >us winchads want to use the superior C#
For two reasons. First because most companies today started before the 2010s when there was 0 alternative to Java. Node was in its infancy, Go was not a thing and dotnet was closed sourced and paid.
The second reason is the mobile development game. As long as android devices will be a thing the Java plague will keep haunting us.
I would question the impartiality of anyone who challenges the claim that C# is superior to Java (it just is on so many levels), but that's only true if you use C# for the web, for console applications or for games.
But i agree on the principle that no ondr should use Java when Kotlin exists for mobile dev, C# and Go for webdev.
>C# is superior
yes
>winchads
no, windows the operating system isn't that great
Android is an operating system.
Worst operating system ever designed. But its not it its mostly boring coorporate enterprise apps.
Legacy enterprise tech
I know it's hard for you trannies to hear but, there is a significant amount of current, and new enterprise software being built in java.
For things that can't be WebApps, it provides the easiest way to make something platform independent for small to medium scale.
That's a woman
JVM isn't that bad bad Java is a nightmare
>Java is a nightmare
Why?

simple thing? such as?
hello world pulling a value from the database doing some number operations simple parts that make stuff.
C# is ass raj
Kotlin is better than both and has great interop with Java. There may be good reasons to drop Java but there's no reason to drop the JVM as well.
Kotlin is just a rewrite of C# with nullable allowed. It's not superior at all.
I look like that
Pics?
Every job offer I've gotten has been from companies that are big fans of Microsoft tech. I'd like a Java job not going to lie
nakadashi maki
Most of the jobs with java & c# is maintaining legacy applications
Java is good and better than C#

Number of Windows phones sold in 2021 vs Android phones?

C# fricking sucks and I would rather run a rusty nail through my hand than write a single line of it
>my mental development is not yet complete
It is alright, it is not your fault. Come back when you are older.

>Java
It's deprecated. Use Kotlin. The GigaSlav programming language.
Why would you use Java instead of Scala or Kotlin?
because you've never worked a day in your life with either of those languages
