Based. Hope Apple brings back the 11" Air with an M2 chip, that'd be killer. The biggest issue with netbooks was always how low-end the CPUs had to be due to the tiny thermal envelope.
90% of the time my laptop is hooked up to an external display. When it's not, I want it to be as portable as possible, small text be damned.
>Hope Apple brings back the 11" Air with an M2 chip, that'd be killer
um the 11" is the same size as the current m1/m2 airs, they filled the bezels with screen
>I want a small screen >get a cheap piece of crap with massive bezel >it's big anyway
I prefer 14 inches. too bad old Thinkpads had better extended batteries that doubled as grips, as these would make them wide enough to fit snugly into 15 inch pockets.
Is there any good 11" laptops?
Best I can find is Thinkpad X131e (core i3, corebootable).
I don't think I've ever found a core i3 on a laptop this size other than this. Otherwise it's always Celeron nowadays.
I miss my 11.6" Sony VAIO so fricking much.
Fricking hate "normal" 14 and 15 inches. "netbook" trend was the best trend, I can't believe that foldable garbageware replace my tiny boys.
Anything below 15" is a joke.
Unless you need it to fit in a pocket these's no reason to go that low. Even 15" easily fits in every bag. If you carry it in your handst doesn't matter. You have no excuse.
>portable device >make it less portable
anything 14+ is not a laptop but luggable or desktop replacement
I need small size and huge battery life, it's a portable device after all
What exactly makes a 15" laptop meaningfully less portable than a 11" laptop? >huge battery life
So you want a larger laptop with a bigger battery, then.
>What exactly makes a 15" laptop meaningfully less portable than a 11" laptop?
physical size
>So you want a larger laptop with a bigger battery, then.
diminishing returns, when you have a 11" and a 15" with the same battery life (or even worse thanks to the extra space being not utilized properly by the battery) thanks to the screen having smaller surface area to backlight to get the same nits and less pixels for the same PPI to drain the GPU, you're just adding weight to a already bigger physical object
Too small, 14" is perfect size for me.
This being said my laptop is 10" but I only use it when I really need it.
What I really miss is dual screen laptop, just take my money I don't care about how big screen is as long as there are two of them.
You see this thick ass bezel? They could have fit a 12" panel in here but chose not to for budget reasons. 11.6" laptops are ONLY for poor gays. However I will excuse those flippy laptops with the touchscreen (eg lenovo yoga) because it gives you somewhere to hold on to.
You must be young
Have you heard of glasses?

The 11 inch is still quite a bit smaller.
Rather take the 16:10 than the 11inch. The size difference is miniscule.
Not really, it's just shorter, they're basically the same width
slightly taller but the difference is totally worth it
>Hope Apple brings back the 11" Air with an M2 chip
I hope apple brings back the 12” PowerBook with an M2 chip
i used to play GTA online on my 11" Air back in the day, capable little thing if you got the i7 with the Intel HD 6000
frick off
BASED

How? Literally a grown ass man baby
>putting worn undergarments (tee, underwear, socks) on a heater.
imagine the smell
People are putting their undergaments on a heater to dry them. They're obviously clean.
Beyond Based
>the woman of IQfy
I want one so fricking bad
>lenovo
>she still has a dick
looks like a fricking kids toy
Close -- but its 12.5"

14 inches, always and forever
Way too small, homosexual. 13" is the acceptable minimum
For me, it's a 13" screen in an 11" form factor
t. InfinityEdge Chad
This, people see bigger number but forget that the bezels are considerably smaller
Too bad those new XPS laptops are all soldered
>no audio jack
I don't know if the specific model in the picture has one, but mine has one on the other side.
*17
Cripple moment. 15'6 or bust.
id say youre right no one needs a giant screen 11.6 is average so you should be happy with it XD
sure, if you are a midget or a women.
this is the ideal size of the ideal workstation monitor
>laptop
>talks about workstation
uh did you mix something up?
not at all. laptops are for sissies.
11.6 - 13 inches are, but only if it's a 3:2 aspect ratio laptop.

Overall size is more important than screen size, a 13" laptop with thin bezels will have the same physical size as a 11" one with fat bezels
Thin bezels and 13" 3:2 screen, perfection.

whats a good 11 inch laptop to buy used? Am poorgay
15" is the perfect size, only betas use 11"
what are 15" users then? surely not alphas since alphas don't post insecure posts like "15" is the perfect size, only betas use 11""
1366 x 768 is the chad resolution, anything else is for betas
This is objectively true. I am a chad and I can confirm.
that's bigger than most 13 laptops now days
because of the bezels
Too small, 14" is perfect size for me.

Poor huh?
13 is
Itt's a pretty good size for an iPad, yes.
yes
Thats roughly the size of my tablet
Sounds about right for a joke computer thats mean for web surfing
I prefet 8-10 netbook form factors myself. Thick ones with many ports.
Any 16:10 from 7 to 11" that worth it nowadays?
