Small southern city. I got scared into thinking if I didn't make as much money as fast as possible then COVID 2.0 would happen and I'd lose my job for not vaxxing and then I'd be homeless.
How did your life change?
It didn't really. Just harder to buy a house now. Only like 1 year wages for me
I was just bantering. An average American isn't really super rich.
Money doesn't fix every problem. As long as your country is not in the two deepest reds on the map, the baseline problems like food availability are resolved. Rest of the problems aren't that money dependent.
This map vastly oversells Moldova, which is FAR shittier than Russia.
When Russia recaptures Molvova in the next few years, there won't be anything valuable except the land to rebuild on. What a dump.

"Adult" is too vague for a wealth indication. Canada for example is a destitute hellhole, except for the 60+ crowd who took everything and made a killing at the expense of their children and grandchildren.
I'm very anti-consoomerist. I have 68k in cash and I feel paralyzed, there is nothing to buy. Too late for crypto, not enough for a big downpayment, yet spending on just travel and fun seems not worth it. I feel scammed into saving that much
You are too risk adverse to make it. Crypto and stocks have been at severely depressed prices for years up until 6 months ago.
It should still be enough for a down payment on a nice house as long as you aren't in a very high cold area so I'd use it for that plus a small trip to another country. Or buy ICP.
I don't spend money on much anything aside from essentials. No streaming services, no books, games,or music. I occasionally eat out and take in a movie at the local theater. I'm not a hermit. Parks and plenty of free shit to do keeps me busy. Torrent provides all the media I could ever want plus I have a server with a shit load of stuff.
for you
Classic.
30k is life-changing money.
I lost life changing money x5
Ama
Where do you live? Why didn't you buy boomer stocks instead of risking it? S&P 500 is basically a guaranteed gain.

outside of the USA, yes. otherwise, no
Why do usanians have so much money?
Why, even having money, do they suffer?

you fat motherfrickers act like it's no big deal to pay 30k hospital bills, ooops ....
I only need 50k remaining for a house deposit. Everything else I want is already in my reach
Frick house prices, but I also am tired of living near the collective shit of humanity
to make? yes. to spend? frick no
500k is the minimum of life changing money
You can either buy a house (in most states), or throw it into bonds and make 25k/yr from it.
i have 500k in bitcoin and it usually grows more than 20pct per year on average.
but you can't buy groceries with bit coins
It's a decent amount yeah

I make 120k and I only spend 25k. I honestly don't know what to spend money on aside from video games (which I pirate)
>this fricking post again
my portfolio is $17k and most of it are BRC20 tokens that I swapped with satoshirouter
