Very sharp and on some things, like steam or minecraft the interface is too tiny on Linux. Issue is if I turn the resolution down so I can see things, it gets blurry. I don't understand why Dell hasn't figured out how to scale shit down to lower resolutions. I have to run everything in 400% scaling which is a pain in the ass. Gaming in 8k is not happening. There are a lot of drawbacks I wish display manufacturers would work out.
Have you tried gamescope, integer upscaling works wonders if you don't want to deal with your monitor's shitty bilinear scaler. Although black borders in games with a max resolution that isn't a factor of your output resolution is a dealbreaker for some, I personally like them, but your mileage may vary.
