Larger amounts of money should be preserved more risk off and dry powder. Index broad market equity (stock) funds like VTI/SPY QQQ SCHD/VYM.
The price you acquire the shares is the real nuance. Gotta look at measures like CAGR PE ratios to see if markets are over or undervalued.
Also smaller positions in Bonds to smooth out volatility, dry powder stack depending on interest rates and such. T-Bills short term Notes Bonds, long term. Of course bonds aren't really that great unless you have large amounts of money. Bonds also increase in principal as rates go down. Negative movement between price of bond and rate.
Stocks grow faster but crash faster, bonds do really do shit most of the time good for parking really large amounts.
Of course Real Estate too but requires larger capital to secure something. It may be good to get a mortgage when interest rates are low. But they're high and sucky right now so not a good time to enter. It was a few years ago tho.
