>Anti-intellectualism: Kierkegaard was critical of the academic and intellectual establishment of his time, and some critics argue that his philosophy is anti-intellectual or anti-rational.
This is the "easiest" one, but honestly, it is fricking religious existentialism, I don't know what those frickers were expecting.
Currently reading the concept of anxiey. My only criticism is not for him but for the morons in this board that keep shilling him like an easy to understand author. If you dont know shit about plato, aristotle, spinoza, kant, shelling and hegel (really important), you will get so filtered you wont even notice you were filtred untill you get to read any other work that is not fear and trembling or either/or.
>there has to be a truth
It is simply a matter of displeasing a lot of people. That makes is "ok", a lot of things used to be ok and now they aren't ok. They used to be uncontested truths, now they are barbarisms or whatever.
What a fricking moron how does something being truth means it's ok? You stabbing my niece means I'll frick you up and I'll do it because I want to do it, revenge feels good because of evolution there's no philosophy in there
The only thing stopping you from being a moronic psycho is your care for yourself, and your intelligence. You won't go around stabbing people because you know you will get in trouble if you do. And you'll work together with your fellow humans because of the benefits it brings you. Civilization was built by utilitarianism and egoism, and morals are merely the result of rational codes of conduct becoming embedded into a culture and people's minds.
>imagining someone with urges to stab random people
Come on, what the frick is wrong with you dudes?

I constantly get the urge to violently lash out at others. Even when talking to someone that I really like who has never angered me, I still can't help but think about how satisfying it would be to punch them in the face while talking to them.

Don't you have anything better to think? I have some control over my thoughts, so I just do something interesting, thinking about punching people that you can't punch is something very childlike.

I mean I'm constantly thinking about some book or my job or whatever. The thoughts just come up randomly anyways and interrupt my brain. Maybe I should go to a boxing gym or something.
>truth doesn't exist >stab le niece >truth exists >asks abraham to stab le son
We should start thinking about ways to keep religious people under control.
What model did you use to determine that there's no absolute truth?

I don't know, but if there is a single "truth thing" out there it is not self-evident as people like to put it. That is the whole point of that shit, until it actually comes up, I just like to think that it isn't there, since it doesn't seem to be.
Nope
Based beyond belief
He was right about everything
>He was mostly about right on everything
>Fact or opinion
No he’s a genius. Wish he Wrote more

There is nothing to talk about on plane earth except our own existence.

yeah I mean K's arguably main goal in life was to destroy this guy so you might as well wanna check the H out
In historical context it's a bit "no u", but sometimes no u is a valid argument.
It's hard to explain but Levinas did it
Any “thinker” that chiefly appeals to emotion over reason need not be taken seriously. As with all existentialists, its junk food philosophy.
i truly hope that you find the truth someday
By truth i mean, Spinoza, Heidegger, Nietzsche Freud
>Spinoza, Heidegger
based
>Nietzsche Freud
cringe
>Any legitimate criticisms
I'm terribly sorry, but there are no legitimate criticisms of anything. Truth simply isn't real.
So if I go ahead and stab your niece it’s okay because truth doesn’t exist?

sauce?
oh? is that true?
It is called science, friendo. You get a model that fits your problem, and there you go, the best thing you have until a new one appears.
What model did you use to determine that there's no absolute truth?

Your life is true. Not your existence. This is what Jesus gets wrong. If he loved the antichrist he would know how to speak to him!
He's a Dane. It's mediocrity: the nation.
I read Fear and Trembling and didn’t understand a single word
get a philosophy textbook
Yes, frick mods and frick jannies
Jesus is the art of fricking your mom so she sings soprano
