>almost raped by old ugly bastard
Do you mean the merchant guy after she flees from Bonhardt? Doesn't she frick him willingly and then he dies 2 pumps in?
Nope, not that one. It was in 6th or 7th vol when she was teleporting between worlds and happened to visit some old guy living in the woods. He wanted to rape and eat her
They are okay. I liked the first two books most, it gets weaker in some way and stronger in others once it turns into a single continuous story instead of connected short stories. The games unironically tell a better story overall
>Are the Witcher books worth reading? I loved the game.
No. The short stories off unique twists on Grimm Fairly tales and such which further demonstrate the lack of originality Andrzej Sapkowski has. Just read Elric of Melnibone, they are more enjoyable and are a speedier read.
All the shit that people call 'World Building' is just generic European politics which nobody gives two blue fricks about.
No it's not of literary merit and is not worth reading. If you want to read fantasy-like lit of actual literary merit then read Salammbo by Flaubert, you'll get far more out of it.
>worth reading
In terms of time wasted when you could read the beautiful classics that form the Western literary canon? No, it's not worth it.
In terms of either reading it or wanking or playing vidya or watching Goyimflix? Yes, it's worth it.
yes
games > books > polish adaptation dog shit > series
but if you read in Polish:
books > games > polish adaptation > dog shit > series
I'm still ashamed of jerking off to Ciri once
>once
Yeah, it was only once, but I didn't know that other people do it a lot more, as evidenced by this thread.
Yes and I am not ashamed of jerking off to Ciri many times.
I am currently watching Ciri cosplay porn video and of course this is the first thing I see when I open lit.
Nope. The books are just GRRM-tier trash.
The games are far better than anything Sapkowski ever wrote.
Yes.
Does Ciri do lesbian stuff in the books?
>Does Ciri do lesbian stuff in the books?
She's raped by a lesbo, yes
She's also almost raped by old ugly bastard
>She's raped by a lesbo, yes
Hot
Ciri is preggers?!??
In what book?
I don't remember exactly. It was when Ciri joined Rats, so probably Time of Contempt

You made me horny. Are you proud of yourself?

Yes very much. The first book is more of a collection of short stories and they start to follow the story after that.
I've heard the English translation isn't the best one and I can't verify it since I've read them in Finnish, which was a very good translation imo.
game > books >>> series
The first books, the short story collections are good. The witcher saga is meh.
ciri sucks
Enjoy getting cucked by a wild-shaped bear druid.
I tried the first book, didn’t find it very interesting. Just felt really basic and the type of story telling that’s better suited for a video game.
Goyslop.

The short stories are fun, the novels are dog shit.
