I think this board has helped to reinforce my faith more than anything else.

IQfy has turned me into an actual fedora. My position towards christians used to be dismissive to sympathetic at best, but now I fricking hate you.

This board actually reinforced my atheism. None of the Christians have proof, also they’re off-putting and obnoxious people.

The only christians on this shitty site are either "jewsus wuz aryan n shiet", schizo spammers or bad faith falseflaggers. If your only exposure to christianity and christians is by IQfy, you'd want to gas them all. I agree with

This. If Christians 2000 years ago acted as annoyingly as anons here I totally understand the Romans who killed them in various cruel ways.

Modern Christians are just annoying and whiny. Ancient Christians were like modern Muslims. They were terrorists, criminal organizers, and heathens.

I’m atheist with lingering Catholic faith, but seeing how ass the arguments Christians (Muslims and israelites as well tbh) make me sad and it makes me think it’s all bullshit

    Nope.
From what I can see no religion describes the reality we live in. God would be obviously intervening in the world if he existed.
Too many religious people think god agrees with them about every little thing and is personally intervening in their lives.
It all just seems so dumb the more you know about history the more you see how tiny people's perception of the world was before science and mass media.
Of course people were superstitious in the past, they had nothing else. Their lives were miserable and without hope.
    We don't need religion anymore.

I was an atheist, IQfy mindbroke me into an esotericist

From interfacing with Christians here, I realized I can't deny that my experience is filled with the recognition of seemingly real significance and transcendent experiences like love and beholding beauty, and breaking through to ever deeper insights. I can't believe that these phenomena are natural, stochastically arising facts, even though that is what the evidence says, because the experiences supervene.
But I would need to lose a lot of memories and intellect to be Christian. Christians are 60% hapless morons, 70% morally stunted, and 10% cringing constant victims. They have produced lots of great ideas, but they're usually deemphasized in favor of their homoerotic (or for the women, often bigamist) cult of one ancient rabbi who, historically speaking, had not a single original good idea.

Anon these are easily explainable emotions for social primates and other animals.

To me naturalism can explain why I feel, but not the experience of the feeling. I am a mind/experience dualist.

They gaslit you anon/they don’t know what they’re talking about. That does explain the feeling and the experience of the feeling. The feeling of love is the emotion that pushes you to care for, help, protect, make sacrifices for and stay in proximity and communication with other humans. Your hormones basically activate a circuit like a program when you see or think about people you love.
I’m not taking away from the greatness of that emotion but that is what it is.

The worst part is that barely any of them read the bible or have explanations for some of the weird stuff in there

For example, what was Joseph’s (Jesus’s step-dad) father’s name? Matthew 1 says it was Joseph, Luke 3 says it was Heli. The best the Christians on the other thread (about Christ and his Davidic lineage) could come up with was that Matthew 1 was about Mary’s genealogy even though there’s literally 0 reason to think this if you read the text. If this was actually God-breathed scripture and capital-T Truth why would it be so strange and contradictory?

Correction, Matthew 1 says it was Jacob but the point still stands
