>In one study, Conway and his colleagues asked 1,401 people (313 of whom had never seen the image of the dress before) what color they thought the garment was. Of those surveyed, 57 percent described the dress as blue/black, 30 percent described it as white/gold, 11 percent as blue/brown and 2 percent as something else. >I'm blue and gold too
Why can't I be normal in literally any way, bros?
Women, members of LGBTQ community, people of African descent, and religious believers overwhelmingly see the dress in colors other than black and blue.
yeah there are parts of the dress that look brown because of the strong yellow light shining on it, apparently your brain is missing the part that tells you why that is
When I see the duck/rabbit pic I can see both the duck and rabbit even though I usually see the duck first
I can only see white and gold on the dress. I can’t see clue and black.
I thought it was all bullshit. My brain is fricking with me hard, when it's in a small form I can reliably switch between the two.
Got damn brains are cool.
It's literally blue and black in real life, and if you use a color picker on the pixels it is literally, factually blue and dark brown. There is no white in the picture. There is no gold.
Last night I could tell the blue parts were white because of the light. Now, it really looks blue. But the black parts look too soft to really be black either way. They look more bronze.
Books on how to cope with being something you don't want to be?
Do some homies really see something closer to the one on the right than the one on the left?
the dress is actually black and blue, but because the lightning of the picture is dogshit you get this optical illusion.
depending of light exposition in the room and on the screen, your brain will perceive the colors diffrently.
Hope this helps
I feel like maybe if you couldn't see the background it might look a bit more white maybe, but being able to see the washed out colours in the background makes it super obvious it's just washed out blue and black
Feeling this, really wishing I wasn't a humanities tard right now
Books are the only thing I care about, and get any job as a humanities major, let alone one that has anything to do with your field of study, seems impossible.
It feels BAD bros
Yes I really did, unfortunately I get no enjoyment out of math whatsoever
I wish I was in love with math, I could have a carreer and follow my passion at the same time. But I hate math and I'm bad at it
What the frick. I thought this was bullshit the entire time, and it was blue and black, until in the homepage preview it shifted to white and gold before my very eyes.

Except it's obviously inside, and there's no logical reason for a dark as frick screen or shadow to be cast upon it. The shadow would have to be absurdly dark in the middle of a store. Goldgays are so stupid

I'm completely convinced people who see anything other than blue/black are trolling. You're not fooling me because it's pretty weak baiting.

I'm going fricking crazy. This shit looked blue all day and now that I'm phoneposting it looks white. Is this about screen size and resolution?
I see white and gold on every screen
Last night I could tell the blue parts were white because of the light. Now, it really looks blue. But the black parts look too soft to really be black either way. They look more bronze.

The left image highlights how blue the original image looks.
Even the left one is blue and black
This image flipped it for me. Now I see it gold and white.
