mate buy some furniture. a garment rack and some shelving and idk a plastic dresser and definitely a laundry hamper (but probably 2). you dont need jordon peterson nor more than like a 100 dollars to get a simple system going to help you keep clutter from spiraling out of control. seriously get some shelving.

at work I've been replacing a lot of xubuntu 16/18 machines with ubutu 20.04 LTS and it just blows my mind how bad XFCE4 looks unless you rice it
which of course will break the brittle WM so no point in ricing it. people always ask for an example but if I install chromium on a bone stock Xubutu 18/20 LTS machine and put the icon shortcut in the top bar it will disappear from it after a period of time
