Meta makes the best VR headset so you're forced to give them money if you like VR. Facebook itself is useless, besides Marketplace. Whatsapp is a good default messenger, could drop it easily yourself but at this point its hard to get people to switch. Overall very hard to completely drop.
Apple is easy to drop, they have nothing worthwhile. Unfortunately some workplaces will force Macbooks on you but you don't have to give them any money.
Google has the best mobile OS in Android, best cloud storage, best maps, best calendar, best email, best video hosting, best photo storage, best ebook app, best FREE notes app. Very hard to drop. You can at least give them no ad money but they will be making money off your data.
Microsoft has the best OS if you like doing everything a computer can do. They also have the best generalized IDE and text editor in VSCode. Pretty hard to drop, but doable if you're okay with not being able to do some things natively on Linux and don't mind multiple specialized IDEs which are often better (IntelliJ for example).
Amazon is impossible to truly drop since almost any website you use is paying AWS so you're supporting Amazon by extension. Aside from that, Amazon has the best digital marketplace and you save a hell of a lot on shipping with Prime. Pretty hard to drop.
Netflix is useless, you should have dropped them already, pirate and you will never have to give them a dime. Rare exception: when you're traveling and have to use a TV where the casting from your phone/laptop isn't working and you forgot an HDMI cable but it has Netflix and your b***h is getting impatient so you fork over the goybucks for a month.
