Also Go, by your logic.
C# is the "close second" of Java. It could never beat java but its very close to it.
Why do you need a successor to C#?
Explain to me how modern C# (not .net framework) is worse then Java
Python is the main successor of all managed langs.
C# is fine and actively developed, why does it need a successor?
>still cant beat jawa
TypeScript
>rust a successor to anything
Kek'd
why do you cniles get so butthurt? Do you see Java and c# gays seething? Get out my thread.
Because you trannies keep spamming a language no one cares about
>pretends not to care
>still posts in thread
hmm
Rust hasn't gained any traction. Also, your posts are far too predictable
Bro Rust is literally everywhere, even your post was verified in Rust.
Rust is a few webshitters (soon to be unemployed) larping as systems programmers. You will never be women. You will never be systems programmers.
Bro my android uses Rust too, you can’t avoid it
Rust is no successor, troony
>screwdriver successor is hammer
>wrench successor is mallet
>chisel successor is ...?
this is how you sound.
system programming languages are all one tool fricktard
java and c# are not systems languages
>he doesn't know

Yes they are since you can use AWK for systems programming!

Python is perfect example of combined hype and worse is better. People use Python because it's just good enough. Python was also heavily pushed by Google in the early 2010s. Perl, Ruby, Tcl or Lua aren't harder languages than Python. Python still doesn't have good package management, while Ruby Gems, Lua Rocks and CPAN just works. Python is slow! LuaJIT is certainly a huge improvement. Ruby has even better support for OOP than Python. Lua and Tcl are very simple languages, even simpler than Python!
If you choose C# or Java, you need to also take .NET or JVM as part of the "deal". Both are good for CRUD but otherwise there are better options like Go, Nim and ZIg.
There are already two projects for full C# AOT.
Now, I know that they are not finished, but work is still being done on them.
One official from microsoft and another one called 'bFlat'. Both can compile C# code to be self contained, but bFlat goes a step further and can strip off unused code really well, bFlat can even compile C# code to run without GC and run even in UEFI environment
>Python is slow!
CPython is slow.
>a C-like Object Oriented Language that was dubbed COOL. The name was changed to C# for trademark reasons in 2000
I don't think Go will be a Java successor. The ecosystem is too big and most people are doing rewrites and ports of the useful shit in Rust instead.
Go also seems to be used more as a way to enable the use of other tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker.. you don't actually have to know Go to reap what it has to offer.
my penis is the succesor to your butthole
