You are replying to a bot. Either that or a weird anon replies to random posts with that same reply.
There's definitely an anon who gets triggered over Schmidt mentions
>the older I get, the more I empathize with violent psychopaths
Grow up, already.
I think growing up is the problem here
No, the problem is getting old but not maturing.
What defines maturity to you?
Wisdom.
i guess that makes you an infant

Grow up, already.
Anglos do it, too. In modern poetry and online messages, anyway.
You haven't capitalized it either.

Inb4 the dumbass chud ruins this thread too with his butthurt about McCarthy, without ever reading him.
I'm a chud an I like McCarthy, what now?
Same and you are objectively correct. Placing White manhood in a survival and scrapping context on the brink of danger wherein it thrives is one of my favorite parts of McCarthy and why I consider it essential post-American lit. Some loser just doesn‘t like it because it isn‘t christian or whatever and has been spamming here.
Way to misread McCarthy bu you do you.
This idea that the author is the one who decides on the meaning of their output is very strange. They can convey ideas and they can intend for certain things but meaning us something communally held by author and audience in regards to a work. An author when writing a passage may attempt to try to convey some sort of idea but it is dependent on how that thing is received and what idea people think it is of, they may be influenced by the author’s potential delivering of statements claiming intended meanings and explanations, but it is only how those are received as well by the audience that characterizes what effect they have in making it so that the author’s intended meaning converges with the apparent meaning that is communally held.
>This idea that the author is the one who decides on the meaning of their output is very strange.
If you're a postmodern, yes. Otherwise, it's the only thing that makes sense. The author is the final authority.
>The Bible was, in fact divinely inspired
>that means that the true author of the Bible was God
>God is the only true final authority on the intention and interpretation of the Bible
>other organizations cannot be such authority
