Mainly the fact that CBDCs are "programmable". When the truckers protested in Canada, the gov still had to tell the banks to freeze the accounts. With a CBDC the gov IS the bank. Also, expiring money (forcing u to spend) and blocking certain transactions (e.g. can't pay for internet if your social credit is too low)
