It didnt have all the modern moronic design flaws like round corners, round edges and camera in the screen. I miss it so much.
Modern phones are made by devils for demons.
i used to mess around with my dad's old s5 after he got a new phone and all i really remember is that it ran HOT
im an amerimutt too so i dont think it was exynos or some shiet
also the screen gave me headaches to the point where i avoided OLEDs for like 5 years until i was forced to buy a pixel 7a for custom ROMs
ill admit the removable battery + ip67 combo was neat
have you checked if there's a cyanogenmod you can install on it? something that old probably won't get very far, but android 2.3 was supported by programs longer than 2.2, like firefox goes up to 31.3 for 2.2 and 47 for 2.3. i'm not sure how much more useful 47 will be mind, since they're both terribly out of date. maybe opera mini will be of some use since it's not a traditional browser and instead uses opera servers for formatting, it has for a long time been the go-to way to get some kind of browsing on devices that just can't handle a normal browser. i haven't used it in a while but i have used it on my old android 2.3 phone (which also only officially did 2.2) before i got a galaxy s4. i also used it on my psp a long time ago, which is much more capable than the built in browser ever was
ps. the old phone i mentioned actually had custom roms up to 4.1 (maybe later, i stopped checking after that), but i stuck with 2.3 because it was a low end phone even in 2010 so it was just too slow with 4.x
I fricking loved mine. I wore out the shitty deformed usb3 port but was able to replace it. Before that I was able to change the battery and install a wireless charger in the unit. Switched to iphone for reasons but still have my s5 out of respect
I remember how unusable these phones were, unresponsive and laggy as shit. Truth is, it wasn't until Galaxy S7 when they became usable. Just because it was one of the last major flagships to have a removable battery does not mean it was any good, it wasn't.
bruh literally bully magnet pussy drier the device
frick off zoomer lingo anon
If youre not getting any regardless, why not just use the advice you enjoy?
>Samsung

Nobody hates android more than Samsung.

The storage being eMMC is a pain in the arse, though.

mine ran hot enough that the glue holding the screen on softened and it fell off.
I'm brown doe
I have an old Samsung with Android 2.2. which apps should I install on it? web browsing is tricky with the default browser, most websites are broken

Samsung used to be cool until they started copying all the gay shit that Apple does. Bring back the headphone jack, you Korean chuds.
LG master race
I'd rather use the S7
The s7 has no removable battery
I need smaller screen
if you have an old samsung (pre S8) with a cracked screen I can tell that you have your downloads folder full of porn
