The notch can work on Mac because of the top bar in MacOS that has stuff aligned left and right. That's not the case for Windows, where the notch would just be disruptive on any program that doesn't have a title bar, such as browsers.
>iPhone
It's a mediocre phone that's outperformed by Androids half its price and utterly BTFO by devices at its own price range. There's no real advantage, and you can't sideload cracked apps. Imagine paying for music. >Airpods
They're okay but if you're going for TWS earbuds, get ones with good ANC. Particularly ones with foam tips. Life changing right there. >Macbook
This one's ok, unless you want multiple external monitors. MacOS is like a simple and slightly ugly Linux DE except every few days you find something that's a downright terrible design choice or limitation for no reason.
>It's a mediocre phone that's outperformed by Androids half its price
price is not a problem >sideload cracked apps
i would mostly use default apps >Imagine paying for music
there is no way to just put music files into iphone? >TWS earbuds, get ones with good ANC
i don't even know what those mean >multiple external monitors
i just use one. >MacOS is like a simple and slightly ugly Linux DE
it's not like any modern interface is good >except every few days you find something that's a downright terrible design choice or limitation for no reason.
This applies to any technology nowadays, at least for me.
You seem to know a few things, can you tell me if i can use (good) ad blockers on apple devices, if i can simply transfer files with the cable, if the update is worse than windows and if there is a terminal application for the iphone?
If you're mostly just downloading music and moving it manually, I think that'd work fine on an iPhone >I don't even know what those mean
True WireleSs (so no cables between the earbuds), Active Noise Cancelling >It's not like any modern interface is good
MacOS relies heavily on things like Rectangle and AltTab to be good. It's also not as editable as something on Linux. >Can I use (good) ad blockers on apple devices
On MacOS, yes. On an iPad/iPhone, you can do it through the DNS, but that's about it >Can I transfer files with the cable
You should be able to >If the update is worse than Windows
I'll actually give MacOS one thing, it updates very quickly. It does have a timer of sorts where you can delay updates, but I'm not sure how many times you can delay them >Terminal application for iPhone
I don't have an iPhone, but it seems that there are a few that people use
yeah, i've simply lost interest in technology. When i was younger I liked linux, programming etc. Today I only use the computer to access a few websites, read some eboks, listen to music and write text, basically a digital typewriter with more features, and apple devices are basically that
> MacBook
Based, but silver > space gray, you might get discolouration spots on palm rests on space grey like i did > AirPods
low battery life for the price, they're enough for fitness or calls but not for whole day > iPhone Pro
Just get usual one, why (you) need 3rd camera?
>Convince you that it's good
Sorry can't do that anon
why
they try to hide that notch so hard
it's basically false advertising to anyone with their brightness down
every company tried to hide the notch
who else has them on laptops?

>Last night I apple ecosystem’d your sister
>Last night I wallgardened your sister
>Last night I 8"ed (in 2024) your sister
>Last night I notched your sister
>Last night I wasted money on your sister.
apple is great but there's a ton of stuff that only runs on windows

thanks for the help
Leave that stuff to Blacks and stupid roasties.
It's the final redpill

lmde does all of this with zero "configuration" on your end
this is false, i used it and there is always something that fricks up, and over the years i greatly reduced the customizations i made in my system.
>there is always something that fricks up
Black person it's a computer it doesn't do shit by itself, I run it too and it never breaks, 3 years now
I get apples use case for this, but the pricing of it all is bullshit
>pricing of it all is bullshit
sometimes you get to a point that money simply doesn't matter
if you find this compelling you're already a lost cause anon, sorry
It's the final moronpill
i had a sandy bridge macbook, components got fried.
im never going to buy a laptop or computer without fans. thermal transfer is everything when it comes to computers.
tdp is so low today that this is not really a problem
maybe for browsing the internet on chrome but i need to play games. i dont want to not have active cooling while my cpu is under constant max load.
>i need to play games
stopped reading
whats wrong with playing video games?
