Heidegger, Nagarjuna, Bergson and the rest are fine, but they're mostly just continental watering down of the celestial Emperor. Still pretty good though, and I can see the appeal.

Not exactly. Heidegger is one side of a binary where Rawls occupies the other. We need a secret third thing at this point

How on earth is Rawls in a binary with Heidegger? Rawls is a thoroughly derivative liberal thinker. He barely touches metaphysics.

For me Guenons essays on the solistial doors, the symbolism on cancer and capricorn (in which he talks about a conch) and the great boar and bear

Somehow do relate to what I have been studying, namely the internal kalachakra and external kalachakra, let me explain
    From symbols of sacred science:
    >It follows that the two ‘stopping points' of the solar procession (and this is
the etymological sense of the word ‘solstice’) must correspond to the two
extreme terms of manifestation, either in its entirety or in each of the cycles
which constitute it. cycles which are of an incalculable multitude, and which
are nothing other than the different states or degrees of Universal Existence. If
this be applied more particularly to a cycle of individual manifestation such as
that of existence in the human state, it will be easy to understand why the two
solstitial gates are traditionally designated as the ‘gate of men’ and the ’gate of the gods’. The ‘gate of men', corresponding likewise to the summer solstice and to the zodiacal sign of Cancer, is the entry into individual manifesta-
tion. The ‘gate of the gods', corresponding in the same way to the winter solstice and to the zodiacal sign of Capricorn, is the exit from this same
individual manifestation and the passage to the higher states, in that the
gods (the devas of the Hindu tradition), like the ‘angels’ according to another
terminology, represent, from the metaphysical point of view, the supra-
    individual states of being.

    Guenon elaborates:
    >If we consider the distribution of zodiacal signs according to the four elemental trigons, we see that the sign of Cancer corresponds to the ‘depth of the waters’, that is, in the cosmogonic sense, to the embryonic setting in which are deposited the seeds of the manifested world. These seeds correspond. in the ‘macrocosmic’ order, to the Brahmanda or ‘World Egg’; and in the ‘microcosmic’ order, to the pinda, formal prototype of the individuality pre-existing in subtle mode from the origin of the cyclic manifestation as constituting one of the possibilities which must be developed in the course of that manifestation. This can be related also to the fact that this same sign of Cancer is the domicile of the Moon of which the relation with the Waters is well known and which, like the Waters themselves, represents the passive and plastic principle of manifestation: the sphere of the Moon is in fact the ‘world of formation’, or the domain of the elaboration of forms in the subtle state, the starting point of individual existence.

      Now it will get crazier
      >In the astrological symbol of Cancer (you'll have to look that up) the seed is seen in the state of half
development, which is precisely the subtle state; it is thus a question not of the corporeal embryo but of the above-mentioned formal prototype, the existence of which is situated in the psychic domain or ‘intermediary world’. Moreover, its representation is that of the Sanskrit u, a spiral element which, in the
akshara or sacred monosyllable Om, constitutes the intermediary term
between the point (m), representing principial non-manifestation, and the
straight line (a), representing the complete development of manifestation in the gross or corporeal state.

      >
In addition, the seed is double here, placed in two positions, the one the
inverse of the other and thus representing two complementary terms. This
is the yang and the yin of the Far Eastern tradition where the yin-yang symbol
which unites them has in fact a similar form. This symbol, as representative of
the cyclic revolutions, the phases of which are bound up with alternating
predominance of yang and of yin, is not unconnected with other figures of
great importance from the traditional point of view, such as the swastika,
and also the double spiral which is related to the symbolism of the two hemispheres. These, the one luminuous and the other dark (yang, in its original signification is the side of light, and yin that of shadow), are the two halves of the ‘World Egg', assimilated respectively to Heaven and Earth. These are also, for each being, and always in virtue of the analogy
of the ‘microcosm’ with the ‘macrocosm’, the two halves of the primordial
Androgyne which, generally speaking, is described symbolically as being of
spherical form . 7 This spherical form is that of the complete being which is
in a state of virtuality in the original seed and which has to be reconstituted
in its actual plenitude at the term of the development of the individual cycle.

        >It is to be noted, on the other hand, that each element of the hieroglyph is also
shaped like the conch (shankha), which obviously has a direct relationship with
the Waters and which is likewise represented as containing the seeds of the future cycle during the periods of pralaya or ‘outward dissolution’ of the
world. This conch encloses the primordial and unperishable sound (akshara),
the monosyllable OM which, by its three elements ( matras ), is the essence of
the triple Veda ; and it is thus that the Veda subsists perpetually, being in itself
before all the worlds but as it were hidden or enveloped during the cosmic
catyclysms which separate the different cycles, to be subsequently manifested
atfew at the beginning of each of them . 8 Furthermore, the schema can be
completed as being that of the akshara itself, the straight line (a) covering
and closing the conch (u), which contains within it the point (m), or the essential principle of all beings. 9 By its horizontality, the straight line then represents at the same time the ’surface of the Waters’, that is, the substantial setting in which the seeds will be developed (this development being repre- sented in Oriental symbolism by the blooming of the lotus flower) after the end of the intermediary period of obscuration (sandhya) between two cycles. At this stage, keeping to the same schematic representation, we will have a figure that can be described as the turning round of the conch, as it opens to allow the seed to escape along the straight line now oriented in a vertical down- ward direction which is that of the development of manifestation starting from its unmanifested principle.

This is literally some crazy synchronicity for me, since I have been reading something like this
        >“The lunar rays of the new moon emanate downward from the Womb of Śhakti, out of which comes the expansion of life.” -–Svacchanda Tantra (7th century A.D.)

Apparently in kashmir tantra, the lunar and solar eclipse are the external correlates of the "timelessness" achieved by "kundalini" awakening in the subtle body which has a correlated internal time cycle

Rather, they say above the crown 12 fingers, or at the crown is Cancer, and that immortal nectar flows down in the form of the imperishable akshara the "m," unstruck sound, (notice guenons use of the syllable OM in this comparison of his)
they equate that descent from the "womb of shakti" which guenon talks about as the waters to the "entry of prana" life force into the fetus, etc.

It is said that you can literally see in young infant the top of their head in the location of the brahmadanda, it will be soft and literally vibrating, so apparently the "prana" which gave us life entered in this way
Like Guenon put it, "Cancer is the doorway to men" gateway to individual existence, we all passed through this doorway as soon as we put on this body

But there is also the gateway to the gods, or supraindividual states, and again in the Kālottara tantra, this is mentioned see pic.

Both these cycles winter solstice-summer solstice occurs in the microcosmic body of the individual being, around 21600 times a day.

So in the tantra, theoretically they say, enlightenment is achieved when the unstruck sound penetrates through to the crown, in otherwords, we have entered this world via the doorway of Cancer,

And we go through the door way of Capricorn to Cancer, and they outline this, as a whole process mircocosmic process, of the ascent of shakti

"The primordial sound within the conch" is what they say like a spiral goes to the crown,
          Up the pathway of fire
It follows that this entry to the supraindividual states, is what guenon is talking about,

"Arising at Capicorn from the winter solstice in the heart, the
breath circulates through the bodies of all beings through months (before returning to the heart)."
          --Svacchanda Tantra VII.119

What boggles my mind is that this was coded in the tantras and was only recently uncovered and translated

“When the light of the day is absorbed into the darkness of the night,
The earth extends to meet and dissolve, in the ethereal sky, and all is blank and dark eclipse. But (strange!) Rahu, the Demon of eclipse, is swallowed by the New-born Moon. True worship of highest Siva occurs when the Great Self is illuminated in this moment, as Pure consciousness.”

–Shrī Lallā, 14th century, from her Lallā Vakhs

“The ascending breath (prāṇa vāyuḥ), or exhalation, is the ‘sun’; it is associated with the procession of the day, culminating with the ascent of the sun (exhalation) towards the ‘sky’ (crown cakra). The descending breath (apāna vāyuḥ) is the moon; from new moon to full moon, the flow of in-breath is also correlated to the procession of the night. Retention (āyāmaḥ) of the out-breath at the location of the heart is equated to a lunar eclipse, while retention of the in-breath, held above the head, is analogized to a solar eclipse.”

          – Kālottara (‘Beyond Time’) Tantra ca. 6th century, verses 11.10-13. The Kālottara contains the oldest known verse on Kundalinī (12.1).

So if through the power of mantric syllables and purification, a person is able to pierce that crown, which is the solar door, it is also said apparently that the physical body will be replenished by the prana of the universe and will be physically rejuvenated and so on, but that piercing only happens by the so called winter solstice in the microcosmic subtle body of the yogi

          >we all passed through this doorway as soon as we put on this body
I should say the majority of us have done this, as in the hindu tradition and others the possibility of the incarnation of Gods or the descent of an Avatara, but this is literally pretty much nill I would say, still in a very special almost impossible situation maybe it is possible

          >So in the tantra, theoretically they say, enlightenment is achieved when the unstruck sound penetrates through to the crown
that is to say the person passes through the "gateway to the gods" devayana, which is ascension through the door of capricorn, an ascent from when the sun goes from southern-northern, and again when the moon goes from full to new, there is much to unravel in these macrocosmic analogies

from the "Heart" to the Crown (which guenon refers to as the localization in the microcosmic body in axial symbolism) which guenons refers to as the pathway to "supra-individual" states, guenon even in some of these chapters mentions explicitly awakening of kundalini in relation to these axial symbols for "second birth"

guenons chapter on solistial doors covers this, he also hints that the Axis, is divided by the zodiacal constellations, ascending by capricorn from midnight to peak of the sun, and descending by cancer from peak of the sun to midnight, in otherwords, this ascent and descent refers to the cycle of the days.

interestingly enough the ancient western astrology ascribed elemental trigons to the houses, which is also microsmically installed in the body as "bijs mantras" in the hindu tantric tradition,

Guenon mentions the relationship between the "heart" "cave and labyrinth" "luz" aswell as world egg and the mountain in relation to this axial ascent and descent, in a way very similar to "shakti" and shiva

          God-bearing Virgin, Hail!
          Mary, who is Grace Embodied,
          the Lord is with you.
          Blessed are you among women
And blessed is the fruit born of your womb
That is the Savior of our souls.

καὶ εὐλογημένος ὁ καρπὸς τῆς κοιλίας σου,
"the fruit born of your womb"
womb calls to mind the cave, fruit the seed (like the LUZ or black stone), κοιλίας also again is literally stomach, calling to mind the navel

That is the Savior of our souls.
ὅτι Σωτῆρα ἔτεκες τῶν ψυχῶν ἡμῶν.
ἔτεκες literally means generated, like the generator of our souls

          Mary, who is Grace Embodied,
κεχαριτωμένη "μένη" (literally force, power, activity)
          κε (literally forced outbreath)
          χαριτω (refers to passivity)

ὁ Κύριος μετὰ σοῦ (literally among with us amidst us)

Guenon even says that Midnight coincides with the rising of the "spiritual Sun" for initiates into the primordial tradition, and even refers to it as a sensory phenomena, like we would feel the rising of the sun to its peak in the afternoon, the spiritual sun is felt as dawning at the start of midnight by hyperborean initiation

Winter Solstice is taken as a very important time for spiritual practices as it indicates the opening of the "gate of capricorn"

its not only happening macrocosmically at a set time in the year, it also happens in the day (midnight), and in the inbreath and out breath.

bros im so tired of people shitting on socrates and plato as if they were the ones trying to question the ancient values
the other sophists of the time were the ones doing this, socrates used their own tactics to try to return to the original traditions, and plato continued this
