The $40 is the only one click I know that's left.
Also, I only got fastboot to work after I flashed it, which erased the whole thing. I couldn't get fastboot to work on download mode. I mean it's fine if you want to install a rom but if you just want to root your phone it's no good.
Well, there's also kingoroot but that rarely works.
I think if someone was dedicated enough they could write bat or bash scripts for this stuff though. Like just have a 1000 line bash script with every phone.
I think one reason is that some much of it is proprietary and/or poorly supported. Some pajeet sticks together a bunch of features in a ROM and it ends up having major issues with incompatibility that take a long time to sort out, often needlessly because the issue would have been obvious if the person had done enough research while creating the ROM. This doesn't mean there aren't some good tools (mostly open) or some good ROMs, but the tons of device specific respins of AOSP or LineageOS (or older shit like AOKP / PA etc) with a few utilities added or new wallpaper aren't necessary and can be poorly made.

I'm so glad that pajeets managed to take my fully functional phone on an outdated OS and give it a more modern OS where phone calls, SMS, MMS, data, and/or bluetooth is incapable of functioning.

These weren't pajeets. They got into mobile a while later, and are unironically the reason XDA is shit nowadays. Stuff like CyanogenMod, the peak of Android, was created and maintained by white men.

Also don't drop it or just put a screen protector on. If you're not 16 you can still get laid with an SE and a screen protector. At that point no one who can be considered an adult really cares about phone models women just care that you can use imessage and facetime. Last two women I banged were using iphones with model numbers in the single digits, both attractive.
