In Australia we have 'unlimited' but apparently people that use 4TB+ are investigated. One guy was "banned" for running speedtests an entire month and using 35TB or some shit. I'd have to find the story.
Mobile data is the shittest part. I have 20gb data cap a month despite having 500MB/s 5G in most places. Scummy as frick.
>In Australia we have 'unlimited' but apparently people that use 4TB+ are investigated
Investigated like you're put on a list or investigated like your ISP sends you a strongly worded letter that suggests you stop using your unlimited internet?
As much as I want to laugh about burgers, cheapest interwebz without here is around 30 euros for 16MBit. Seem everyone but East-Euro bro's is getting cucked by their ISP.
mobile internet is also wild here in Italy
you get 130 gigs of mobile data for like 7€ a month while americ**ts get 2 gigs for 30$ a month or sum shit like that
Yeah I was really surprised when I saw that when I signed up for xfinity. I thought 1.2TB was a tight cap, especially since I work from home and pirate huge amounts and also every website and program will phone home every scrap of data it can. but I've never even come close to approaching the limit. I assume it is mostly there so that they can charge seperate business rates to people running data centers or websites or some shit
Paid $90 to Comcast for 500/10 and a 1.2Tb cap, and $10 for every like gig over (which happened regularly). This was the first two years in living in the capital of Oregon. My last year here tho suddenly I've been fortunate to get 4Tb cap for $20 more a month. This was the best (and only) option available to me.
In Alaska I got gigabit uncapped for like $80. Looks like soon they'll have 10Gbps up there, too. I hate this country (and all the waste-of-skin politicians that got us here)
Most ISPs no longer have data caps but Comcast is one of the largest ISPs and they do have caps in certain markets. My brother complains about it because he often goes over but he has three teenagers plus his wife and our mom living in his house so between all of them, they do use a lot of data.
Once you go cap, you never go back.
I'm glad I'm not an American and never had to suffer such humiliation rituals.
most of us never did
but you already knew that you shitty troll

lmao the eternal aussie strikes again
Wtf I upload like 2TB a day (Netherlands)
As much as I want to laugh about burgers, cheapest interwebz without here is around 30 euros for 16MBit. Seem everyone but East-Euro bro's is getting cucked by their ISP.
I live in italy, I pay 23euro per month, I get 700/40 and no cap, uploads are cucked sadly
Pretty nice.
It's around 40 in Ger but my problem is there is so little room down. I'd be perfectly happy with 15MBit for 15 euros.

i pay the same for 40/20, i think its FTTC
Gigabit in the Netherlands is around €45
Mediacom used to be the worst, frickers could charge you $128,000 in potential overages per month on a residential gigabit line... that is not a typo
ONE HUNDRED TWENTY EIGHT THOUSAND PER FRICKING MONTH.
LOL
In Romania we pay 8 euro for gigabit unlimited
LOLOLOLOL
An Ukrainian friend pays like 10 bucks too but guess it comes with the downside of living in Romania/Ukraine.
I KNOW BROTHER
BUT EVEN IF EVERYONE IS CORRUPT ASS CRIMINAL
I CAN STILL SEED THE TORRENT
AND RUN THE SERVER
peace.jtt8
It's really only a wienercast thing, even my Verizon 5G home internet has unlimited data.

>500/10
holy shit US is real third world country.
It's not the politicians, moron. It's your own people
I'm rural Croatian and my speed (40Mbps) is capped at 100GB. The speed goes down the drain (10Mbps) after that.
ive never experienced it. I just paid 2g/2g for $90 a month and its fricking based.
In the UK I pay for 1g/1g and no caps for £27 a month which is the cheapest in my shithole.
yes
