        >would rather be greater at walmart than put effort into starting a hobby or forming social networks
you really need other people setting your routine for you, huh

busy people are busy whatever their situation, you're just an empty shell

There are more jobs than just Wal-Mart. Also NEETs aren't doing any of what you're blabbering about and anyone who has actually been NEET for an extended period of time knows it. You are not super disciplined as a NEET and you're not fooling anyone when you pretend to be. Your day consists of video games, porn, typing angrily on the internet and staying up until 6 in the morning.

I barely even play video games now. I just read blackpill threads, jerk off and maybe watch youtube or 1 or 2 episodes of an anime.

Wagie traveling welder here. We don’t all work at walmart. I work 4-5 months out of the year make a measly 60k plus perdium (enough of money for me) on the road with the boys some days are fun some are rough but i get home stronger than i left and spend the rest of my year as i please on muh land. Neet is cool i did it during covid but if your neet you cant buy land so idnt know what the point of it is. No land no fun imho. My end goal is to live off my land as a neet but with out the gibs. And yes i wear my ppe adflow papr w/ organic vapor acid gas filters. 9100xxi

it gets boring because you aren't maxing your neet out.
It's like college. If you are still in the general ed courses by your 3rd year something is wrong. Break out a bit. Yes jack off to anime breasts and sleep in but go to the college library and exploit their VERY FREE BOOKS YOU CAN READ WITHOUT HAVING TO BE A STUDENT.

Be the hermit you always wanted to be. Learn a skill without having to pay for it. Get a notebook, bring your laptop. Download porn sounds and study physics and teach yourself math instead of with an ESL teacher who can't even figure out how to drive a car let alone teach in English.

Some of my best years off the clock was focusing on learning something new.

This is what happened when the wages got a taste of working from home. N0 getting up early, dressing, being stuck in traffic, expensive parking, expensive lunches, etc.

Many of them threatened to quit if their bosses made them go back into the office just to keep up business real estate prices.

yep. absolutely disgusting. even more disgusting when you remember they all also got millions in forgiven PPP loans and other various grants because of the scamdemic.

There were times that I did want to be a NEET. It all stemmed from being under enormous stress and the desire to take a break from the wage slaving life. I don't know how many times I thought to myself "frick, I wish I had disability income because I'm so fricking fricked up by stress and I need a fricking break". I had a desire to give myself a month to recover from the wage slave life.
But I never did, I trudged on and things eventually got better.

Is either being a neet or spend most of your day doing useless work so someone else gets richer at your expense,

Some do some don't, for both sides. Some NEET are comfy and need for very little; others seethe and cope. Same is likely for wagies.

People are too different, with far too many variables involved to generalise with this shit.

You overstimate the proportion of people who are wagies. In WASP countries it’s only like 60% of people of “employable age” who actually get paid for any kind of actual work.

NEET cope. I've never encountered a neet who isn't a lazy piece of shit that wants to either do drugs or play video games all day. They'll say they want to bring about the end of waging or 'the system ' but the only thing they're willing to do towards that end is not participate. In addition, they are woefully unprepared for what would happen if their alleged goals come to fruition.
Basically they are completely useless people who project their insecurities onto others. They are intellectually the equivalent of Black folk or women.

The times I was unemployed were the worst for my mental and physical health I realized I become a lazy piece of shit when i can do what I want. Now I work three 12h shifts a week and it’s a good balance for me.

I wish I didn't have to work but I don't think I would like being the stereotypical NEET. People that aren't doing anything all the time tend to be low quality people.

Not moving, not working is death to your body & soul. You get stuck in a rut, depression seeps in & your health goes to shit. That's why half you Zoomies look like Onions Dough Puffs. Soft, without stamina or drive.

    You know this is true.

Most of them. They all have 401k retirement savings accounts. That's basically a NEET savings account. The plan is apparently to work for other people for forty years, in hopes of getting to spend the last few years of their life as a NEET.

    I don't understand it either.

Being a NEET when your parents are super rich and you live with them in a big house and never had to take work seriously in this first place is not the same as being a middle class or below NEET.
