Black person they don't even allow decent bitrates, their 4K content looks like 1080p at 40mbps, while 1080p itself is basically what you would expect from a 720p bluray. Not happening any time soon.

No. 60 is more than enough and the niche use case of 120fps is easily substituted with frame blending

This is because your brain isn't functioning fast enough to keep up in order to differentiate the two rates. You are looking at media uncritically.

why? video over 24 fps is pointless placebo

With good audio sync you can just about see the frames update if you pay attention.
The idea that it's placebo is patently false.

You sound like audiophiles that claim to be able to hear differences in identical conductors. I'm sorry but science just doesn't agree with you. You can't see more than 24 fps.

            >You sound like audiophiles that claim to be able to hear differences in identical conductors.
No I don't claim that, but I can feel, over time, the difference between CD quality sample rates and high sample rate, and when you expand your mind to be highly critical of clarity along smaller periods of time, you do notice the difference.
It's mostly the same thing with frame rates.
Pulsing light past a certain rate will accumulate voltage in our eye's sensors much faster than it can totally de-accumulate, which is why pulses past a certain point don't appear to flicker on and off and instead appear as a consistent light, but constantly emitting light, like that of any LED backlit screen, does not pulse.
These voltages in your eye's sensors change at a rate irrelevant to the second. The only determining factor in whether you can percieve a change in constant light is your brain's ability to think at that small of a time scale, your eyes can see it just fine.
This 'science' you are referencing is about percieving flicker, it's totally irrelevant to the conversation on FPS.
