I don't read fiction.
SCI-FI is incredibly bland nowadays, fantasy all the way
Both of you're homosexuals. Sci-fi, and fantasy both suck nowadays.

Kys homosexual
you mad? cry me a fricking river
enjoying neither fantasy nor science fiction is the epitome of a bland normie redditor moron, go back
No I just disagree with calling some lgbt gay redditor a normie. I am a normie and I love scifi and fantasy (not the modern pozzed sff), I also hate reddit
Fantasy and scifi are the normie slop, gay. Go back to sffg.

Why did you copy my reply moron? Trying to look edgy?
I think it’s telling that science fiction arose with the advent of modernity and its most popular sub-genre gradually evolved into cyberpunk, which imagined a basically bleak and pessimistic future.
Most filtered post on IQfy right now.
No one tell this guy even the Greeks wrote sci-fi stories.
I'm about to finish a science fiction book (The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy), and the next book I'll read will be fantasy (hunger games). I only got into reading recently so I don't have a favorite between the two genre yet. Though in other media, I typically lean more towards fantasy.
you know, fantasy fits especially well with anime, i just don't know why
It doesn't, anime/manga gays don't even read
fantasy anime girls are great
Fantasy tries to escape reality by offering another world which is usually hampered by said world being basically medieval europe. Sci-fi tries to augment reality by asking "what if" questions.
Sci-fi is more interesting therefore.
Fantasy isn't hampered by aiming at vaguely medieval european settings. The rough era of the setting is not very important to the genre, so long as the setting allows for adventure and close combat.
God I love Rem so much, wish I had a Rem in my life .
Science Fantasy of course.
Sci-fi ainec

Fantasy has better highs and way worse lows.

Fantasy is kind of stuck and stagnant and sci fi is too.
