it must be nice having such low IQ. To be amused by such infantile display of vulgarity. Treasure this gift, anon. Not everyone is blessed with such mediocracy.

I fall asleep regardless I just want reduced eye strain when browsing at night and it works, I turn it off when watching movies obviously

it's complete placebo. Want to sleep better? Stop being a pathetic stressed-out wagecuck that is forced by society to piss away 50 fricking years of his life. But no, we can't have nice things and nobody cares about wageslaves, so the solution offered to us by academicucks is "stare at piss colors!!!!"

          its not placebo

while its not placebo, its significance is questionable. Balancing screen brightness and ambient light likely makes a much better difference in regards to eye strain

            >This systematic review found that blue‐light filtering spectacle lenses may not attenuate symptoms of eye strain with computer use, over a short‐term follow‐up period, compared to non‐blue‐light filtering lenses. Further, this review found no clinically meaningful difference in changes to CFF with blue‐light filtering lenses compared to non‐blue‐light filtering lenses. Based on the current best available evidence, there is probably little or no effect of blue‐light filtering lenses on BCVA compared with non‐blue‐light filtering lenses. Potential effects on sleep quality were also indeterminate, with included trials reporting mixed outcomes among heterogeneous study populations. There was no evidence from RCT publications relating to the outcomes of contrast sensitivity, colour discrimination, discomfort glare, macular health, serum melatonin levels, or overall patient visual satisfaction.

I have night mode or whatever enabled from 19:00 to 07:00, it just werks, but I don't leave it that orange I go for a lighter hue. Makes me feel sleepy in a few hours and I'm ready for bed at 23:00-00:00

Nah, I don't give a frick about my circadian rhythm. I'm sleepy when I've ingested enough alcohol. Then I wake up and drink more to feel good again. I like the color blue.

No, I have it at dark mode all the time so it shouldn't be a problem.

We aren't nocturnal rodents, our sleep isn't dictated by light levels or color. Circadian rhythm is literally vestigial in humans; we only thought it is more important than it is because most studies on sleep use lab rats.
