I leave mine on at work but when I get home Ill take it off. Using a phone with out a case in a physical labor intensive job is just asking for it to break.
That being said, I like the feel of the phone caseless more. Even budget phones feel pretty premium. I would recommend a screen protector at least though.

Bought a used phone for the first time about 2 months ago and the previous owner gave me three cases so now I use them. Previously, I would have never even thought about putting a case on my phone but lately I have been much more open to the idea. My previous phone fell out of my pocket as I was getting out of the car and landed right on the concrete of the parking lot, the screen cracked in four different places. Perhaps a case would have prevented that
This happens to me a lot when I get in my car and it slides down between the seat and the center console. Shit sucks to have to finger it out each time, so now I just take out my phone getting in and leave it in the cup holder.

Yeah, I actually use that overpriced d-brand case with with one of their x-ray skins. It's expensive but it feels really nice. Normally I just get whatever Spigen case looks good for like $20, might do that again for the next phone but I'm not sure.
