Samegayging is not a problem. It's called talking. A back-and-forth. morons like you who want a 500-reply thread to have 500 IPs as if drive-by posting is preferable will not be missed.

no one seems to know what it means anymore they think its not a problem because theyve never understood what the IP counter meant

Yea it's when you reply to another anon so the reply count goes up without the unique IPs changing.

He obviously doesn't, he's evidently a moronic zoomie.

I was born in 1997, not a zoomer.

Half of the posts on this site are bots and shills so I'd say it's already dead.

      its considerably more than half
moot is actively making it harder for organic posters to make threads while making it easier for people who pay for passes (aka bot farmers)

No. The design philosophy behind imageboards was established 20 years ago and was in error. These errors became exacerbated once ubiquitous computing became a thing due to scale/speed amplifying the maturity of the issues.

Imageboards need to be reformulated in a direction that's so wholly different from Shii's 2004 description of them that most people who use their current iteration would not accept what needs to be done on "religious" principle, while people who don't use imageboards would never use the reformulated product to begin with, unless it were stylistically repackaged in a significant way.

To the main point, though: no, this site and imageboards in general have no future. They were localized incorrectly and sites that maintain the core principles of imageboard culture amplify this incorrectness.
