Every aspiring FOSS-programmer/sysadmin/1337h@x0r is now listening to you. They genuinely want a better world of freedom, prosperity and lulz. Unfortunately they are all zoomers who don't know the first thing about anything.
You can give them ONE resource only to change their lives. It can be a book, blog, playlist, archive, website, or whatever you like. They will all read/watch it and it will inform their adventures over the next few decades. What do you recommend?

i give them a gun and tell you to have a nice day ynbaw
this is contributions to the latest linux kernel.
FOSS is something big corporations make up and glorify to make you work for free, so that they wouldn't have to employ developers or buy licenses.
don't contribute even a single line to open source unless you're explicitly being paid to do so.
This is the strangest psyop I've seen recently. What do you shills get out of shilling for proprietary software
He’s not shilling proprietary software you dunce, he’s shilling not CONTRIBUTING to open source for a JANNY’S SALARY.
(emphasis in all caps)
I assume this is all automated. Respond with something coherent to prove me otherwise.
It worked last time for Brave Browser, wouldn't be surprised if they can do it again for anti-FOSS.
>FOSS is fake, bro. The corpos are bringing in bank from your free downloads
Kek, are the corpos in the room with us? Can you point them out?
thanks to volunteer contributions, corporations do not have to employ developers or purchase licenses.

here is a cisco product utilizing 54 FOSS. cisco obtained them for free, made minor modifications to them, and sells them.
but you already knew all of these.
>Rsync and BusyBox
Oh No! How did we let them be the next Elong Musk by stealing rsync. They're literally Hortler!
you're trying way too hard man
stick to baiting /misc/
>you're trying way too hard man
stick to baiting /misc/
Read further into my post.
None of what was "stolen" by Cisco is revolutionary.
Rsync, teracopy and really any sync or copy software is just a copy of Robocopy and if you've ever used the command line for anything you'd know. What I'm talking about.
If anything having the masses work toward improving software and then having the corporations take it and take it further, it can lead to better outcomes for civilization altogether.
Linux Techtips is a hack who prefers bending the knee to Satan (non-free companies) than contributing to utopia.
>FOSS is something big corporations make up and glorify to make you work for free, so that they wouldn't have to employ developers or buy licenses.
>literally 97% of the work is done by big corpos
>freetards get 97% of a kernel FOR FREE
>all they have to do is give away the first 3% for free as well
yeah such a horrid deal. They really tricked us
I'm going to stop using a kernel I have never contributed to because someone else gave their free labour to make it
This is the truthnuke for learning where to start hacking. There is not a pathway you follow to learn, only recommendations you can be given.

Find like minded people, learn from each-other. In order to break something, you need to know how it works. Learn how to make websites, learn how an attacker could pwn your website, continue, repeat, etc... Jump down the rabbit hole blindly.
knowledge of hacking comes naturally from building. Its the same how a locksmith needs to know about lockpicking to make a good lock. Also
>youtube
you will get nothing useful from a monetized channel, the incentive structure is to keep you watching instead of actually doing anything
I remember this popular training website where the flag is ssh keys to the next challege, but forgot the name.
Also nobody has explain lainpilling or laincore to me. Is it just a dogwhistle for trannies?
I wanna say war games or something. I’m away from home, but I remeber the beginner series was called “bandit”
its okay you reminded me with the bandit part

Thanks, looks good.
>second part is satan spelled backwards
I'm guessing there are palindromes involved. Don't tell me, I want to try them all myself.
>nobody has explain lainpilling or laincore to me.
It's the most IQfy anime.
>In order to break something, you need to know how it works.
what the frick kind of logic is that?
Please preform SQL injection without knowledge of SQL for me. Please reverse engineer an application without assembly knowledge for me. etc.. etc.. Are you moronic?
those are not examples of breaking something.

>Unfortunately they are all zoomers who don't know the first thing about anything
boomers should have me taught everything because I'm entitled to it and didn't ask to be brought in this world, if you make me stuck to a phone that (You) made very addicting for profit purposes then don't complain about me not knowing shit, you reap what you sow lmao
to anwer your questions, college exists
it's not a place where you learn shit, most of it is useless
it's a place where you meet like-minded people who are passionate about autistic shit
it's a place where you learn how to learn shit you don't know
it's a skill issue if you don't use this knowledge, no book or video will ever provide that information until your experience it yourself
you won't start a ctf competition unless there's a local club for it (or you are autistic beyond repair that you find starring at a terminal windows for 20+ hours a day is more interesting than pussy)
>meet like-minded people who are passionate about autistic shit
That's who I want to compile resources for. You're not going to develop these autistic passions unless you have an entry point.
>no book or video will ever provide that information until your experience it yourself
So what's the entry level experience? For me it was playing around with a graphics calculator and reading the BASIC manual that came with it. What was yours?
>ctf competition
Good idea.
>you find starring at a terminal windows for 20+ hours a day is more interesting than pussy
It is.
