'developper' is not a proper job. It's a scam.
Neither is teaching developpement btw. It's a scam too.
You got scammed by scammer into becoming a scammer.
You're part of the problem now. Your life is ruined. You will never be first class citizen. You will never have class at all.

If getting scammed means being in the top 10th income bracket by default while jerking off on your couch then I'd rather be scammed than find a 'real' job - whatever that means.

would love to help you but don't want to get doxxed. I work at Accenture federal and might be able to get you in. What do I do?

do they have positions in Costa Rica?

hell no but they might be remote. you should be open to moving if you really want the job. If there's something tying you to costa rica figure out a way to bring it with you or at least send money back.

you can't even pay rent off that let alone have a life

That doesnt make any money either. Piracy and Steam taking 30% makes that a minimum wage job

like this anon said, steam cucks you 30% and your game never sells elsewhere, then the gov takes 50% of that while constantly increasing your cost of living and raising the taxes, that's if you can even make a game that sells more than a dozen copies (which most don't) after months of labor

        >then the gov takes 50% of that

I graduated with my CS BS in 2018, applied to a few positions (I'm not moving to some hellhole city and live rural) had one interview and took the ball home and applied for AutismBux and couldn't be happier. I've never been employed and was a nontrad when I got the degree. A whole 900 something bux a month but it's guaranteed by Uncle Sam until the country collapses which is more than you can say for the bullshit probabilistic, poorly specified, social head games ridden (interview), nepotism ridden employment trainwreck.

Watching the cucked homosexuals on the cs career reddits scramble for crumbs with their homosexual acronyms for everything, full of phytoestrogen talk, only the have Shlomo's lash at their back and be beaten wagies. Who could want any of that but a sucker. Or a Pajeet, which is what a tech job morphs you into until you hanker for curry and stink like shit.

I am 23 and from India with almost 3 years of experience. The job market is so absolutely fricked that you can't get a job without a referral. I left my job in January because of shit working conditions and dirt pay (all Indian companies work this way and I can't take it so I left) and struggling to find a new job now. Trying to upskill by learning ML and building my own products meanwhile. Will see how it goes.

Tech jobs sound so fricking awful, just judging by the NPC morons that post on the cs career reddits. It's the modern equivalent of factory work or something, just an assembly line of pathetic webdev and stacks an imbecile can do. Working in the bowels of meaningless servitude on pointless business software that leaves you forgotten when you die and not even rich.

I like real technology, making things of intrinsic value and with AI software is toast. Pictured are the Varian Brothers, a mad scientist who designed RF tubes in his head with no math and his barnstorming pilot brother. Their Klystron tube was used in war winning radars and accelerators to treat cancer. Building cool shit like that is honorable and important to national security and should all be done here. gayMAN homosexuals are sad and doomed souls.

Nobody is making that much anymore unless you got in during better times and have years of experience. Now it's impossible and doing an MD is more realistic even. But the fact remains that it's midwit work that was artificially inflated and the boom is over and pay is changing to reflect the fact that webdev or whatever has little skill or value and the only ones left standing will be genius level PhDs programming the C++ code running the LLMs and shit and paid according to actually have hard skills.

Bullshit jobs in tech were a mirage bound to disappear.

I have over 25 years of experience and no one wants to hire me. They want to hire you, bc they hired me when I was 13. But they don't understand that you won't actually do the work like I did. Instead you'll b***h and moan and quit after 3 months. It's over for me, but it'll never begin for you. Enjoy it while you can. We're all going to be shoveling coal into the furnace soon. In the darkness. In the silence. We shovel coal. In the darkest darkness, in the deafening silence. We shovel coal.

best thing you can do is keep applying, and hopefully keep scoring regular interviews so you don't let the fear of interviews hamper you as the gap grows larger. After the gap becomes longer than 12 months, either consider changing fields or go back to college to get a masters.

there's a startup that raised series F at a $14 billion valuation. most of the engineering department is in India. My point is you need to be aware that even if you're qualified enough and they need someone, increasingly the chances are they'd still offshore to India. Fundamentally cost cutting is in the Vogue and hiring someone, eventually paying for their increments in America will continue to be too costly. Just look at what Google's doing.
