Eyeball Removal?

Which countries could I get an otherwise healthy eye in extreme pain removed? Preferably?

If it can't be done, what do I need in order to safely remove it myself?

Please describe the pain. If you're experiencing cluster headaches removing the eye won't help. Take oxygen immediately when the headache starts to mitigate it.

It feels like the corner of the eye is being set on fire. It's felt this way for months. Doctors have consistently said they don't know what to do and do not have any treatment.

Is the pain constant? Describe how often it happens if not.

It's intermittent but a 10/10, occurs randomly and often flares up at night when I sleep too.

No usage of lack of usage of medication has been consistent in how this pain comes. I have been on cyclosporine and corticosteroids.

How long as this been happening for? How old are you? Describe any changes in vision during an attack.

Honestly my first guess is a cluster headache, which is often felt as extreme eye pain.

Removing the eye won't help. I can't emphasize this enough. You will blind yourself and be stuck with the pain.

It's not a headache. Sometimes the corner of the eye turns red. I know I won't be stuck with pain if I get rid of it.

See an ENT moron. You probably just have a blocked tear duct or your sinus drainage is fricked. It's easily fixable with massaging and some drops.

Also try taking ibuprofen (Motrin) and Benadryl (diphenhydramine) to reduce swelling. If that helps then massage your eyes(don't rub them constantly) and stay away from pollen. Get an air purifier.

Get a high IQ doctor, not a monkey, a c**t, or some liberal moron. A real one would start discarding possible scenarios like infection, inflammation, etc. The fact they didn't gave you any relevant information is overwhelming evidence they are complete morons.

            >I have been on cyclosporine and corticosteroids
These do nothing for serious pain yet you are considering removing your eye? You need to be on opioids ASAP. If your ophthalmologist won't prescribe them you need to visit a pain management physician. In fact, if the ophthalmologist didn't rx them, he's probably a very bad doctor because he could have done so. You can counter the sedation and nausea with other drugs and be functional without losing your eye. It's possible it's deferred dental pain or TMJ. You need to on at least 15mg morphine equivalent dose, possibly higher if this isn't effective. It's worth increasing the dose over the years and incurring a physical dependency. Sometimes pain resolves spontaneously after a few months/years or you find the root cause. Being medicated is preferable to losing an eye and buys you time. I'm shocked. Opiophobia has deterred prescribing of them so much that you've been to 12 specialists, received nothing, and now, if you're not trolling, are literally considering gouging your fricking eye out.

The other poster is high IQ, his suggestions if it being a headache, use of oxygen for it, and demodex if not, are very good and should be exhausted. You can buy oxygen concentrators off craigslist without a prescription.

            >he's probably a very bad doctor because he could have done so.
It sucks, I've been to a million doctors including neuroophthalmologists, but none of them have suggested anything for the pain.

Go to a normal country that will actually help your symptom instead of gouge you for money to not treat your unknown illness.
In normal places you'd be given something to fix your pain because that's the issue after all, then they would investigate the cause laborously even if futile because they are in the business of aiding.
I assume you american? American doctors are just lazy whelps riding it out for their paycheck. Especially degenerate general practitioners.
Every American doctor deserves sanctioned death.

You 100% need a specialist or a diagnostician, not a general practitioner.
I had similar problems with the medical industry. The fact is they don't give a shit about you and just want to take your insurance before booting you out the door. If they aren't offering solutions, then find someone else.

I've been seeing specialists, but is there something like a diagnostician for the eye specifically?

So you experience migraines like everyone else? Cease hormone therapy and dilation and the migraines will go away.

...Have you been checked and/or treated for Demodex/Eye Mites? It could be Mites.
My other guess would be a possible sinus infection or otherwise clogged/gummed up tear duct. Maybe try one of those salt nose rinses?

I'm not going to read these other massive replies but I concur that you should use a painkiller. A heavy spot number is probably best. It will probably take a while but you should do everything you can to not blind yourself.

Doctor here. Rip out your good eye and see if the pain in the bad eye goes away. If that doesn't help come back in three years.
