Red Hat are anti-white, so I shan't be using their distro and their services. I know FOSS has a lot of 'woke' people, but I can get along with most of that shit, not saying I agree, until they start putting people down for the color of their skin.

Sane defaults still matter. Most linux distributions are so moronic and maintained by such massive morons that it's a miracle anyone can use them without commiting suicide in 15 minutes. I'm so tired of every distro making terrible decisions so I just use arch if I'm gonna use linux. That way you at least get the shit defaults from the desktop environment alone and not the shit defaults stacked a top of shit defaults of distros. I fell for the openSUSE meme and just installing it and being greeted with a fricked up KDE rice that looks like something from 2004 and then having literal games and libreoffice shit reinstall on an update because of moronic patterns or whatever was a deal breaker. Same with fedora shipping SELinux and not having codecs packaged that don't constantly break on updates. I fricking HATE most linux distros and moronS working on them. linux should only be arch and gentoo, everything else shouldnt exist
I've maintained custom distros for professional use and can tell you with nothing but facts that Fedora is the only good distro being talked about. Ubuntu *will* break eventually and you'll blame someone else instead of Canonical's shitware.

I don't get why fedora is even shilled. it's just a substandard distro that combines the worse of arch with the worse of Debian, plus some corporate trash on top. you get forced yearly upgrades, you get shit packages during that time, but you also get whatever defaults Redhat wants to experiment on you like an actual guinea pig. oh and since fedora is Redhat (don't @ me with that gay ass independant shit lol) they literally are bound by Redhat legal to not put codecs, not enable the repos where the actual codecs are by default, and you're basically just cucked by whatever they decide is safe for RH.
All of that for packages that are meh at best, a package manager that sucks, no nominal stability like RHEL, no wide support because everything now supports Debian/Ubuntu first... and a distro that wants to move to flatpaks anyways so who even cares about their repos?
