Do you guys have a flagship smartphone?
Mine was when I bought it
The iphone12pm 512GB
i play mobile games a lot and hate that the resolution isnt higher
Supposedly the next iPhone will be 6.9 inches and would have a higher resolution than the 1290p iphone15pm
I like that the Samsung has a bigger screen with higher resolution at 3120x1440
Do you guys have both? What flagship are you using
>Do you guys have a flagship smartphone?
no
Mine iPhone 12pm doesnt have 120hz like modern phones 🙁
Also i use LTE for cod mobile but sm always getting 50ms ping
Its alright but you can obviously tell who has a gaming modem and router cause i pulled up on a guy and instantly died right after jumping out
I couldnt see any shots or anything meaning he had the modem and router
10ms> ping is no joke
Why aren't you updooting to IP15? And why aren't you dragging your IP11 brothers along? Don't make Tim Apple cry every night because they're losing sales to their based older models.
As to flagships, even older ones are still serviceable. Or newer ones get cheaper months after release if you can't control your FOMO.
Cause the new iPhone is coming in fall anyways
Ill try the 16 Pro Max and hopefully it comes in the rumored 6.9 inches
If not i might switch
I like my phone for music, movies, tv, and gaming
Same
:^)
You have five phones?
What phones are those each and whats the movie/music/gaming/tv/reading experience on them?
What do you recommend to?
From left to right. Note 20 Ultra, S22 Ultra, S23 Ultra, S24 Ultra.
Gaming is great on S23U/S24U. On N20U as well, since mine is a Snapdragon unit. Music is the same on all, since none have audio jacks anymore. I only watch animu every once in a while, since I prefer a monitor. It's great otherwise.
I recently upgraded from a Note20 Ultra to an S24 Ultra. Traded in my old Note5 for $1000 off the S24 Ultra, kept my Note20 Ultra, I'm gonna send it in to Samsung for an OEM battery replacement soon I think and then keep it as a backup or dedicated toilet phone or something.
How the frick did you get $1000 off with a note 5? I have a note 4 laying around but samsung is only offering $100
Fixing all that will almost be the same price as getting the latest iPhone
AT&T was doing $1000 for any Galaxy Note or S series phone in any condition.
I see. I switched to iPhone 2 years ago but android is starting to look interesting again. I want to try android again
You have the backbone controller? Ive been thinking of going back to android and getting a Samsung flagship but am scared of making the jump
I like apple tv, music, icloud, and the other stuff iOS offers
Also been thinking about getting my iphone 12pm restored by apple with a fresh battery, new screen, fixed speakers, and having it as a backup phone and use the Samsung flagship as my daily driver
No, it's Razer Kishi v2
The coomer consoomer
>>>/vt/
Yes, I am aware of that board.
Please post the papes.
go back to /vt/ and stay there
But IQfy is my homeboard :^)
S22u here, how much worse is the zoom on the S24u?
Frick samsung for copying apple with the 5x bullshit.
The 5x is better.
You're going from 10MP at 10x to 50MP at 5x
Which means on the S24U when you digitally zoom to 10x (2x digital on the 5x optical lens) that's equivalent to ~12.5MP at 10x. Which is better than the 10MP at 10x you have natively on the S22U.
Basically it will be identical quality, or slightly better.
oh yeah, and having 5x allows you to have much higher quality zoomed images at 5-9x.
With the S22U if you're zooming in at 5x through 9x, you're zooming in digitally on the 3x optical lens. With the S24U when you zoom in at 5x you (obviously) get the 5x optical lens, but at 6-9x you are digitally zooming on that 5x optical, not the 3x optical you're using on the S22U.
Once you get to 10x the S22U switches back to optical, but as I just said, mathematically the S24U at 10x is still on-par with, or better than the S22U anyway, even with it needing to digitally zoom.
I only buy low-mid end androids these days with the bare minimum compute power to run modern apps smoothly so like 1/5 the price of a flag ship
I like the larger screens, higher resolution, and new chip in flagships
I got a mid level phone before and was left wanting
fairs but for me the Samsung "A" series is all I need right now and the screen size is the same as the flagships
>Do you guys have a flagship smartphone?
Yes.
S22U. India model. Did not buy it anywhere near fricking India.
Wdym?
India model but not India? You dont get it from the carrier or straight from the maker?
Also the India team used the S23 Ultra to win the cod mobile championship
Tablets are banned in official use and the Samsung flagship is the biggest and highest resolution phone i believe
>India model but not India? You dont get it from the carrier or straight from the maker?
Some literallywho phone store in a dead shopping mall that is 10% cheaper than anyone else.
I am NOT complaining however because no exynos.
>Also the India team used the S23 Ultra to win the cod mobile championship
They redeemed?
Sony Xperia 5 II was le flagship
Are you getting the Sony Xperia 1 VI?
It will ditch the 21:9 ratio for 19.5:9 because it was too long
Likely not, even taking into account the new aspect ratio because I actually prefer the 21:9 one, I really like the slim aspect. I didn't even consider upgrading my Xperia 5 II in those past 3.5 years, because of the worsening throttling/overheating issues and the notification LED being removed at some point in later models. I have no idea if there is another brand like Sony on the market who still incorporates the combination of (technically) small form factor, headphone jack, SD card slot, full screen real estate (notchless) and stereo speakers. I gave up on removable batteries since 2016.
My next mobile device is likely to be a fairphone, but last I checked they had a soulless punchole camera and removed the headphone jack.
It's the camera AI frickery that makes flagships interesting. I take pictures off into the distance just to see how well this shit works.
What sort of fricking AI trickery is smasnug employing and why can no one else compete?
I turn off all processing on the camera
I dont like any upscale or software to try and change it
Samsung also has some of the better optical zoom capabilities, so even without AI frickery they've got decent zoom.
another poojeet thread. these nasty street shitters are obsessed with phones.
Im Hispanic
Phones are awesome
Theyre able to play desktop and console ports of games instead of “Lite” or pocket versions now
okay Raj Kumar. go buy a toilet
>he doesn't carry a pocketable GTX1050 with him
ngmi
I have an S22 Ultra, shit's cash
Great battery life
Good resolution is nice
I use the stylus to scribble notes all the fricking time, finally I have some tech to replace my EDC pocket notebook
The Samsung flagship looks so cool and nice but i dont like the pen at all
I wish they got rid of it for a slightly larger battery or some amplifier for the speakers
If you don't like the pen don't use it. It doesn't detract from the rest of the experience in the slightest
>amplifier
I don't think you know what that is
Smartphones have them
The iPhone pro models can playback cd quality audio from its speakers
Idk about androids
>The iPhone pro models can playback cd quality audio from its speakers
I don't think you know what that means either
Yeah
The Samsung flagship has 32 bit/384khz speakers
Cd quality is 16 bit/44.1khz
SPEAKERS don't have bit/khz not do amplifiers nor does that really matter to phone speaker sound quality
That's just DAC frickery
Meanwhile I would refuse to buy Samsung out of pure spite if they stopped offering a flagship with an Spen.
I have been using an Spen equipped phone since the Note3. You're not gonna get me to change now.
I've signed for multiple years worth of lease agreements, and my mortgage loan on these phones, the Spen is fantastic and just because you don't use it doesn't mean other people don't.
My S22 Ultra has an SPen. I know the S21 Ultra didn't, but they brought it back
They had Spen support on the S21 Ultra, but no built-in Spen, they did have an Spen accessory case for the phone though.
And for the S20 Ultra it didn't matter because they were still offering the Note20 Ultra. But the Note20 Ultra was the final Galaxy Note. So samsung has had a flagship with Spen for almost every generation for every generation but the S21.
>Do you guys have a flagship smartphone?
iPhone 14 Pro
Next is iPhone 19/20 base model (only if it has high refresh rate) otherwise Pro again
I see no reason to upgrade from my Mi10T Lite. I already have a Lumix gx80 for taking pictures on the go and don't use it to play demanding games.
moto x30 pro chad here, ask me anything
S23 and I plan to run it until it completely craps out and/or folding phones get cheaper and at least slightly more durable.
same with my s24U
Being comfy with my Galaxy S20 for three years now, I wish it'd last forever as all newer galaxy S models are total shite
flagships are all OLED slop so no
You're like the morons who refused to buy SSDs even a decade after they became mainstream because the first generation or two consumer SSDs were shit.
*burns in*
You guys just regurgitate that without actually seeing it normally
consooom
How? Theyre dope and cutting edge
I got mine redmi note 11
>for me, it's a flagship
>also frick you
