I had a reign of terror that started on this website. Phishing people's myspace passwords and posting huge txt files full of them. Trolling random people by saying awful shit on their accounts. Encouraging others to post worse and worse things like school shooting threats etc on the accounts. When the mods started banning us we took it to altchans. Sometimes it blows my mind that I did all this without even using a proxy or anything.
the wild west internet is over, then it came the israelite inverse version, on twitter, hunting "us", what's the current status nowadays? did israelite doxxers die as soon as elon bought x?
I think OP can make the argument that in person interactions forfeit anonimity and thus online could or should be the same. The difference however is online there isn’t an equal share of privilege or transparency. For example if I meet someone at a cafe and start talking we both immediately know what each of us look like, sound like, dress like, and where we are, etc. Beyond this it’s unlikely the other person would do something crazy or dangerous in a public setting. Furthermore it’s very difficult to find the other person unless extreme precautions are taken or they share their contact info. Online someone can find information about you, use the information nefsriously, stalk your online pressence, potentially attempt to hack into your accounts, without your permission. Compare this to vouyer/stalking or even swatting someone. It’s very easy to do things like this while maintaining anonymity online.
>make new gay neckbeard thread on IQfy >laugh until I'm tired >go to sleep >wake up >this isn't my gay neckbeard posting lair >I'm on an operating table >my arms and legs are tied up >gay neckbeard approaches >revs up the gayinator 9000 >"You will need this" >saws my Phinger off >blood gushes everywhere >unbearable Max Payne >"What's the use briefcase for this" >saws off my sack >scream uncontrollably >"This situation is getting heated, I recommend slowing down" >pass out >... >wake up >"Mein arbeit herr ist done" >lets me off the operating table >gay neckbeard is so big now >he brings me a mirror >stare in awe >I am a sissy >a rainbow flag is placed upon my head >I have become... a gay
>friend used a trip on IQfy way back in the day >I now have thousands of his cringe posts ready to read on the archives >like to tease him about some of the worst ones like one post about how he molested his fat aunt when she was drunk, no he's not white btw >some of the posts were even about me but were surprisingly posititve
Its the weirdest feeling, its like having access to someone's diary.
I still know the shitposts were written by me when I see them in an archive. It's unmistakable. It always feels good when you're done writing them like you got something off your chest. When you read them later it's embarrassing.
it's the worst when you run into one of your posts and someone had replied to it without your knowledge with the most moronic shit ever but now you can't defend yourself. But in a way it's also freeing since you have to learn to let go and not worry about it. I've never learned though and it still pisses me off.
I need anonymity and I also need (YOU) to have anonymity because I just want to read your shitpost, not look at your avatar/join date/post count/badges for user wienerLUST420 every time you reply "lol"
>Give me a good reason why
OP - post all your details about you in this thread and allow your gut feelings to answer your question in real time as you consider to do so
im not sure why you believe youre entitled to any of that information

what the anon is saying, I think, is that being in public and identifiable, point-able, in case of committing an offense, for example by driving your car, with its plate, is not the same as having a public link to your documents for any person outside to use
The internet is a place where everyone steals your data and uses it for their benefits, having no anonymity on the internet means having no faith that who you are talking to isn't a scammer.
If there is no anonymity on the internet, then how will government agencies/contractors/ngos do their work on IQfy and IQfy, without everyone finding out who they are? I mean come on stinky nick be serious.
so i dont get cancelled, harassed, doxxed, and bullied for making 1 shitpost 12 years ago
Fpbp, also so my employers can't "background check" me and see me saying Black person
remember when we were the ones doing doxxing and bullying? shit son, we have to go back

I want to be mean to other people and say horrible things about bipoc people without having to fear consequences

so I don't cringe at myself for making 1 shitpost 12 years ago
This was the only real reason.
If I was social and outgoing I would have a facebook page and youtube channel like everyone else.
but what if my shitposts have gotten worse over time?

Because I want it, you fluorescent wienersucker.
Anonymity regarding whom?
ie. Internet is full of schizos that would kill after being contradicted.

I identify as you, so why don’t you (me) tell me (you) your info.
whats stopping you from pretending youre a police officer? just put a siren on your car and pull someone over.
wtf are you even implying
im not sure why you believe youre entitled to any of that information
You lack reading comprehension.

>you're doing good lad 🙂
I want to do things on the internet without the government finding out, just like I do at home. Is that too much to ask?
Yeah actually it is.
Also you're posting this to a site run by Disney which is the private arm of the CIA.
I enjoy the brief moments in a day where I can banter and shitpost without a care in the world. Anonymity is what makes it possible.
Frick you Alphabet boy!
dicky,
Gore,
Gore porn,
Haxor stuff,
Incel stuff,
Suicide stuff,
Weapon stuff,
Drug stuff.
Peace of mind.

To be Anonymous, that is not.
You are not Anonymous.
"I" am not Anonymous.
Therefore, you are not?
Do you see? Please don't
People can get into your bank account and such based on your personal info
Give me a good reason why you need to know who I am.

I just need to know
Not a good reason
