Ever heard the phrase "desire is the root of all suffering"?
It's not completely true. The root of suffering is the desire for meaning aka duality.
That's where Jesus/Lucifer comes into play and offers you exactly that. "You must love, you must not sin", while Lucifer presenting the complete opposite and thus creating duality.
The truth is that we do not care about worldy affairs, we only pretend to care out of fear.
The truth just is, as you are the truth. So why does Jesus guilt-trip you and threaten with hell?
So you would seek truth without. Seeking truth without = Lucifer/Jesus offers you Gnosis, which is false enlightement as it is rooted in duality (good and evil).
And it is very difficult to find back to the self, after Lucifer occupied your heart and replaced the self with false enlightenment (Kundalini ascension/Christ Oil). Gnosis is a very good imitation of the self, but with the difference that it seeks wisdom in the material plane. Also does it imply that one must gather knowledge in order to attain the truth, when this couldn't be further from the truth.
The truth was never separate, the truth is who you are. The truth is defined by your very will.

Everyone with a holy spirit from the corrupt fall and genesis of the Angelic rebellion had eternal life in the spirit already. Even theough the mortal flesh perishes, the prison which is this earthly hell held fast the spirit and still does. The Christ simply opened a gate, offered a path back to the one, but at a price. God died in the flesh to restore harmony between the Father and all emanations of the spirit.
