I live in a moronic third world country where all males have serve in the military for either 1 year or 3 years (it’s completely random). I’ve kinda accepted it at this point, but I’d love to read books on how to survive this kind of environment just to get ready for it. I’m fine with either practical books on how to act there or philosophical/psychological books for the kind of mindset I should be having during my service.
You need to get the vaccine to go into the military. Imagine being this cucked.
I’m already vaxxed. It’s over for me bros
Why don't you just try walking across whatever continent you live in. You'll either die or have an adventure. So far you've lived the life of a slave.
>third worlder
>no freedom
>coerced vaccine
>forced to be a jannitorial conscript
Just stop doing shit. Quit your job. Get a few things, and then start walking. Better than the cattle-life track you're on.
I didn't ask you at all.
the book fullmetal jacket is based on
Lead a revolt. Liquidate your commanding officers and storm the capital with recruits, until the government is forced to take your actions seriously. Say you're doing it for freedom. Make sure that everything you do is always streaming, that way you have leverage. If the government capitulates, you win and are a national hero fighting for reform. If the government mows you down without blinking, you're a martyr fighting for freedom.
Ok it’s cool and all but I don’t wanna die. Also I’ve spent my entire life abroad and only returned back because my father felt homesick and basically screwed me over.
You obviously do getting vaxxed and joining the army.
Which shithole do you live?
Land of the Pharaohs
one day there will be another arab-israeli war and you must be victorious, thank you for your service
Egyptians currently fight for Israel
I heckin' love Judeomasonry and ~~*Ikhwani*~~ shell games!
>~~*Ikhwani*~~ shell games
What do you mean?
The Muslim Brotherhood is Freemasonry for Muslims, since Freemasonry is generally frowned upon for Muslims to join. The shell game part comes from Al-Sisi being perceived as anti-masonic despite the fact he absolutely is part of it.
>see also: Erdogan
>he absolutely is part of it
But he killed Morsi. I follow a lot of conspiracy theories but it needs to be plausible
>But he killed Morsi.
>plausible
these are congruent
He threw him in jail and kept him in bad conditions until he died. So yes, these are congruent
Just tell them you're gay and you'll be exempted lol
And then legally not be able to work anywhere
So? That's nothing. At least they won't throw his gay ass off a 4 story building. Ar*p military is just flexing your wealth and your families connections to get a cushy job. Sucks if your clan fell for the westoid have only 1 or 2 kids meme.
Pretty sure it’s only gay pedos that go off the buildings
But that doesn’t work so well as propaganda so the honest western media leave the bit about the others age out
then he is going to be put on one of their moronic subjective lists and discriminated against so instead of fixing actual problems the government just uses their resources for shit like that
bump
legit just want books lmao
Maybe that David Goggins book or the other bestseller book by Jocko Willink, they are both military so might help you. Havent actually read them
I checked out David Goggins' book, it seemed to me that it was just a self-help book in disguise but I might read it again for the sake of it. Never heard of the second one, will check it out. Thanks
Don't read Jocko's trash. His books are garbage and will just inspire anyone who reads them and believes his bullshit to burn themselves out trying to bear the weight of the world on their shoulders.
The Loneliness of the Deep Sea Diver, by David Harrison Beckett. It might not seem immediately obvious, but there's a lot in common between what this guy went through, and what adjusting to the military is like. Getting used to communal toilets, being isolated with only your comrades/co-workers for long stretches of time, and being confronted with the gorey reality of death frequently.
While I haven't gotten through much of it yet, Under Pressure: Living Life and Avoiding Death on a Nuclear Submarine is another biography worth checking out. This latter book might actually be more relevant since he was in the military
Both recommendations seem very solid, I really appreciate it thank you anon
I don't know if you should read it, but Catch 22. I mean it's a bit weird and more of a absurdist satire so maybe not the best advice
Oh it's been on my list for ages, I guess this is a reason for me to check it out. Thanks anon
If literally everyone in your country has to do it then this includes bottom of the barrel morons and actual out of the closet gays as well. It won't be too hard on you, just shut up and do it and try to make friends.
I already accepted it, I know it's something I just have to get it over with. I just want to have a frame of reference lmao
Is it true that a lot of men there are creepy predators? every female i have read that went to Egypt has had bad experiences
Yea unfortunately it's true. Any sexual expression is shamed. This goes for both genders, in fact a couple of years ago a 16 year old girl was arrested for posting a "provocative" video on TikTok where she barely shows any skin in the first place. Most men here are shamed for interacting with women before marriage. Handholding, hugging, kissing, and sex are all seen as sins and are shamed against. Dating is done in secret because otherwise both the guy's and the girl's parents will react negatively. Honestly, I'm not sure why Egypt is like this. For example, a couple of years ago my father saw me texting my at the time girlfriend, and then took me aside and lectured me about it. On the other hand, my Lebanese friend openly goes out with his girlfriend, and his parents are aware that he has pre-marital sex with her, but they're ok with it because they think it's better for their son to be a straight sinner than a homosexual one lmao
>because they think it's better for their son to be a straight sinner than a homosexual one lmao
Redpilled parents.
The city and the Dogs by Mario Vargas Llosa
There’s a popular American book called Once An Eagle but it’s about the American military
Pic related is probably the best military/war satire that I know of, although some stuff might go over the head of anybody not from central Europe
Came here to recommend Svejk too. I'm American and laughed my ass off, but I am somewhat familiar with Czech culture.
Watch out for rapists, and do what you can to avoid getting raped.
How pretty do you consider yourself to be? And be honest, because rape is absolutely about sex, and you're much less likely to be raped the uglier you are.
