You should definitely stay with your girlfriend instead of making more money. This is advice every young man needs to here.

Don’t do it. $15k isn’t shit. Value your mental health above all else.

is it possible for you to move there at least?
cuz if that's not a problem, then i would tell you to take your chance

well that just fricking blows dude, do you really love her tho or is it like a superficial relationship with no dept yet or probably never?

cuz imma be real with you, most of the partners you will have won't stay with you. better take the chance now than not taking it and be stuck with someone thinking you'll be happy just to see it crumble eventually in the following years, months or even weeks. because love and people are b***hes.

thank god i'm asexual and focus on myself while having good friends. i make a decent bag already, invest from time to time, been around with vinu on my wallet for some time. this was a good run for me.

but enough about myself. think about what i just told you man.

It's not actually a raise if they're forcing you to move to a higher cost of living area.

Chino is full of obese Mexicans, FOB Asians, and meth whites, who are you dating?
San Clemente is full of hot, rich trust fund girls from successful parents. I bet your girl would look like a 3-4/10 if she ever steps foot there.

What's the total salary going to look like, and is it possible to bring your girl with you? How long have you two been together, and how old are you? What industry, and would that raise come with better advancement prospects? Are they paying for relocation, and cost of living adjustment?

    >things that need to be contemplated prior to accepting

15k is nothing you fricking thirdie. If you care about money so much, literally go to a first world country. I swear you people are moronic, you make less than 6 figures and then act like little b***hes for tip money.

Black person, the dude is in California. 15 grand for a raise is a pretty good pay bump. Likely thats half your annual pay right there.

Doesn't matter, if they don't get enough hours at McDonald's they get a second job at Burger King.

    >$15k
What is this percentage wise? I'd move for 30%, but not for 15%. Also, what's the relative cost of living? Don't fall for your entire post tax pay raise going into rent/mortgage. That sucks because you would have spent time money and mental energy moving for no real gain. I fell for this once. Fortunately I was able to swing jobs because I had moved to a larger metro area.

Negotiate the bump up to $30K and bring your GF with you. Then, break up with her once you're there, and she's locked into a one year lease.

I dont recommend moving for work, Ive been there
the pay is not always worth it, especially when you are in a place where you dont know anyone, and the only thing you are familiar with is your job; I have been like this for 4 years and at this point I would rather go back to my old home and just hold things like MAGA like the old days
