Gentoo legitimately is more reproducible, more stable and more up to date than either NixOS or Guix and it also doesn't try to entrap you in "us vs them" mentality, Gentoo's accept.license is FREE by default so it's basically FSF tier default but it's as easy as accepting any non-free license if you want to install non-free software, boohoohoo it's my system I will install whatever I want you fricking Black person.

I would hope it's up to date, doubtful it's more up to date. Unstable nixos and unstable Gentoo nix will win every time, Gentoo requires globally installed libraries, that can, and does cause breakage.

The fact that it offers non-free packages means it's not a completely "free and in freedom" system. Guix is literally a FSDG distro. It comes with the libre kernel by default.

You know what I hate about guix? I hate that there is no in between option for firmware. I either am forced to go with non free just to install it and actually have a working system for my hardware or go with free and have my system be gimped.
