Lunar calendars are broken as shit, people say israelites are high IQ but we held onto this garbage for millennia despite everyone around us having a better system. I'm sick and tired of holidays varying in dates by as much as a whole month each year.

Sola calendars aren't perfect either. Look at how shit the Julian calendar is. Even the Gregorian calendar isn't exact.

Being off by a day or two is still better than being off by MONTHS, and those calendars have inbuilt systems to compensate for these errors.

As long as it's in the same season who cares? The computus for Easter ensures that it will always be in spring time. Also maybe I'm just larping but come on... lunar calendars are kinda cool. Getting to see the paschal full moon every year during the week of Easter makes me feel really connected to the past for some reason. It gets kinda born just knowing the date every year when something will happen. Like Christmas is always December 25 because it's solar based. Easter though is a whole different animal being lunar based. Add a little variety, do a little math. Done.
