Depends what your definition of work is. Surprisingly if you enjoy doing something then it doesn't really feel like work and the knowledge and motivation that comes from knowing that you've done the best you can with today's work and that you've achieved something tends to keep people satisfied.
Be born in a wealthy family or at least waelthy enough so that you're not forced to get a job the moment you're old enough to lift a hammer, but rather have time to develop your hobbies in to a paying job that you enjoy doing.
ex. I'm from a poor eastern eu family. always loved photography. never had too much talent for it, but my parents were relaxed enough to let me leech off them in to my early 30s, when I had learned enough about the trade to find enough freelance jobs and built a base of some clients who needed product photos on the regular, to live off it full time. It's still a job and nowhere near as creative as I would like it to be, but I can support myself, have a fairly loose schedule and the job still is good enough, there are days i am excited to go to work.
Sell all your possession, put the money in a saving account, move to a third world country and live off the interest.
All I own are hundreds of paperback books, which there's no real market for, a brickphone and a shitty laptop. Is it over?
Own stuff that produces stuff without your direct involvement.

You will run out of money

Those won't satiate your soul; they will on fact destroy it. You need to get into an art or study or physical recreation of some kind.
I also go to the gym, but I don't have the genetics to go pro in bodybuilding or even social media "influencing". I am doomed to wagecuckin'
I enjoy making wine at home but there's no vintners around here and every brewery I apply to doesn't call back.
