The first mention of Panthera comes from the second century. On the other hand, the gospels were completed at the end of the first century, so the immaculate conception was attested before Panthera.

When someone tells you a woman spontaneously had a child without having sex, the most logical thing to do is assume she cucked her husband. I don't understand how credulous you have to be to believe the Immaculate Conception story.

Yeah well in ancient egypt every pharaoh was a descendent of a God so I don't think it would be too out of place for the Messiah to be conceived this way.

        >inmaculate
        >conception

The doctrine of Immaculate Conception has nothing to do with the Virgin Birth of Jesus.

"Immaculate Conception" means that Mary, mother of Jesus, was born without Original Sin, permitting God in human form to be born from her flesh. She had a fully human father that copulated with her fully human mother; not a virgin birth.

The Virgin Birth doctrine concerns the declaration of faith that Jesus (Yeshua ben Yusuf) was conceived physically in Mary's womb directly by the Holy Spirit without physical copulation as the Son of God.

Mary's Perpetual Virginity is the dogma that Mary never carnally knew a man in her life at any point before or after the birth of Jesus. I personally find that a lot less believable than a virgin birth.

The supposition is that if God were to enter a body in the state of Sin, He would destroy the body by entering it.

Panthera is from Sidon, Phoenicia, rather close to where Jesus lived
      >The name Pantera is Greek, although it appears in Latin in the inscription. It was perhaps his last name, and means panther.[3] The names Tiberius Julius are acquired names and were probably given to him in recognition of serving in the Roman army as he obtained Roman citizenship on his honorable discharge from the Legion.[3] The name Abd in Phoenician means "servant of", and is most likely short for Eshmoun/Eshmun, a Phoenician god of healing and the tutelary god of Sidon. Pantera was from Sidonia, which is identified with Sidon in Phoenicia, and joined the Cohors I Sagittariorum (first cohort of archers).[3]
      >Pantera is not an unusual name, and its use goes back at least to the 2nd century.[5] Prior to the end of the 19th century, at various times in history scholars had hypothesized that the name Pantera was an uncommon or even a fabricated name, but in 1891 French archaeologist C. S. Clermont-Ganneau showed that it was a name that was in use in Judaea by other people and Adolf Deissmann later showed with certainty that it was a common name at the time, and that it was especially common among Roman soldiers,[3][7][1] which would also fit the name Pantera, because the standard bearer of a Roman unit wore an animal fur on official occasions, in this case this would have been the fur of a predatory cat.

The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; the God of Isaiah. The One who's theonym is assumed to be יהוה ; according to the old texts. 'Eolhim' or Κύριος, as he was referred by the early Christians.
There is no "which one" for there's only One worthy of the title. And by His title alone you may refer to Him.

PTAHRA took Mary from Joseph the same way David took Bathsheba from Uriah. Except, Joseph was in on it for the sake of hiding his sons hereditary right from Herod, - whom had killed infants with the specific intent of stopping the rumored lineage of Ptahra,- which would've been not only senior to his petty region, but potentially senior above Rome.
israelites (anti-ankh israelites) and patriarchs (anti-egyptian romans) do not like this. They are the synagogue of satan,- Seth.

are you even trying? the panthera narrative was first by israelites in the Talmud. celsus detested israelites.
only way to dismiss panthera being jesus's dad is lack of evidence. the response of an apologist claiming a holy ghost impregnated mary isn't a counter argument.
the ironic thing is that if we didn't have origen response we would have never known that the panthera narrative existed before the talmud. thanks christcucks!

        >the ironic thing is that if we didn't have origen response we would have never known that the panthera narrative existed before the talmud.
So which is it gay? The Talmud is the origin of the story or Celsus is the origin?
        > the response of an apologist claiming a holy ghost impregnated mary isn't a counter argument.
Well, it predates Celsus and the Talmud for starters.

          Anonymous

          >So which is it gay? The Talmud is the origin of the story or Celsus is the origin?
Origen's response to celsus is the oldest source that mentions Panthera being jesus's father. if that source didn't exist/was lost then we would only have the jesus story in the talmud which would have been easily dismissed as israeli fabrication written 500 years later
          >Well, it predates Celsus and the Talmud for starters.
i am talking about actual history, not theology. no one is going to believe in miracles that defy nature and logic because an old piece of paper says so. it's either Joseph, Panthera or some other person.

            Anonymous

The Panthera deal is obvious an obvious anti-christian smear to mock the virgin birth. Jesus's father was quite obviously Joseph, as the virgin birth wasn't even something the first christians believed, and it's not in our oldest gospel, Mark.
