>How are atheists so happy when they don't know God???
The same reason babies are happy, because God isn't required for happiness.. Every humann on Earth is effectively atheist for the first 3-4 years of their lives
>How are atheists so happy when they don't know God???
The same reason babies are happy, because God isn't required for happiness.. Every humann on Earth is effectively atheist for the first 3-4 years of their lives
people arent born in denial of something
non existent things, yes
Wrong
A.I. will make up data to fill in the blanks. It's called a hallucination. A.I. lies all the time, and presents the data as fact.
What is your empirical evidence for the Christian god?
inb4 unmoved mover brainrot
I think, therefore I am.
>I just want to beLIEve
100% expected.
>God lifts them up and feeds them
No, that's caretakers. You know, the people who actually show up when you call for them.
Intuition
Daily reminder that Christians perform poorly on intelligence tests compared to secular people, with a remarkable detail that they are really bad at knowing when to use analytical logic instead of intuition to answer a question.
They’re feeling around in the dark all the time.
>babies are happy
It's called terrible two's for a good reason m8
Its called terrible twos because thats usually when a baby starts learning to walk and starts getting into shit while also still being too mentally underdeveloped to understand danger. It has nothing to do with a baby being happy or not
i thought it was because the majority of terrorist attacks are carried out by toddlers, therefore two year olds are terrible, because they do terror
Toddlers are extraordinary emotionally unhinged. My daughter will look at a plate of food, run away, and scream in rage before coming back to eat like nothing happened. She gets pissed off if she steps outside and the sun is too bright.
>Every humann on Earth is effectively atheist for the first 3-4 years of their lives
it's just demonstrably false cos researchers already know that children will refer to static objects like rocks as having a creator and being made for a purpose, you have to talk children into atheism, you don't really have to talk them into theism
>it's just demonstrably false cos researchers already know that children will refer to static objects like rocks as having a creator and being made for a purpose,
pretty sure babies don't really think too deeply about rocks anon
They put it in their mouth try to chew and taste it before realizing those are not food.
so what you are saying is that to be an atheist is the same thing as lacking an ability to think deeply
atheism is the "default state". Rocks and trees are also atheist anon. Theism is a social construct, its inherently unnatural
Anon average Christian IQ in the United States is 10 points below the atheist IQ. It’s at 94.
I’m an agnostic so don’t spaz at me for delivering the facts to you.
it's not that the fact upsets me, it's that the fact is irrelevant and i don't care. if Christians were smarter than atheists in America, would you become Christian too? or does it actually not matter at all and is a non sequitur
You’re the person who tried to call atheists dumb. I’m pointing out that Christians as a group are so much dumber than atheists that they’re actually at different levels of cognition. Below average and close to a full standard deviation disadvantage means Christians as a group actually lack cognitive functions that the average atheist has.
Your gods of statistics and science(tm) are flase gods.
Not him but it's always a funny argument. Christians should never get into the business of calling atheists dumb because the stats are not on your side, but even if they were, you'd basically be saying that the atheist is gatekept from heaven by his inferior IQ.
>god exists because.. he just does okay??
Deep
>Talk to toddler
>I bet someone made that rock
>Who made it?
>God, the father of Jesus, creator of the universe who inspired the writing of the bible
There’s a huge difference between “this rock was formed at some point” and “Jesus died for our sins and unless we worship him we’ll go to hell.”
Is this your definition of God?
>Jesus died for our sins and unless we worship him we’ll go to hell.
A part of the definition of the Christian God. Toddlers thinking someone made a rock doesn’t mean people are predisposed to worship or Christianity, only that they seek the sources of stuff. Have you never heard a kid ask endless questions about shit that even they don’t even care about?
>Why is the sky blue?
>Because of the diffraction of light.
>Why?
>Because light exists in several wavelengths and during midday the light diffracts through water to mostly spread the blue wavelength
>Why?
>Because the blue wavelength falls in a specific range
>Why?
Babies are born weak and stupid. If left alone, they would die, because they are sinners (full of error). Praise the Lord, because they are not saved by their pathetic little baby minds, and weak little baby bodies, but they are lifted up, and saved by their care givers.
So do babies go to hell because they’re sinners? Pretty hilarious that hell is mostly babies and toddlers who died of a low grade fever before antibiotics were invented.
>So do babies go to hell because they’re sinners?
Babies move in all sorts of random directions. Jesus Christ saves them from hell. As for the afterlife, you seem confused about what the power of the Scriptures.
>Pretty hilarious that hell is mostly babies and toddlers who died of a low grade fever before antibiotics were invented.
You either argue in bad faith, or you are a psychopath, because this is not a hilarious straw man that you have invented.
You seem to be blaming God for the cosmos, but God is not a God of the dead. He is a God of the living. The cosmos was there in the beginning. Do not think that God creates like a man putting together a puzzle, in which he pieces it together. He divides, like a sculptor, and the chaff is burned. He prunes like a gardener. His creation is a firmament of definition.
>You either argue in bad faith, or you are a psychopath, because this is not a hilarious
It’s hilarious because it’s absurd and clearly untrue.
Then why would you present it as an argument?
To mock an absurd idea, ie. Christianity. Another fun one is that if babies go to heaven Christians should be in favour of abortion and infanticide. Babies who are aborted or smothered in the crib go to heaven, but if they grow up and aren't Christian they will go to hell.
>mock an absurd idea
Why propogate an old hallucination? Instead, give the large language model the data it needs to complete the algorithm correctly. You're like a programmer who's laughing at bad code instead of fixing it. And then, you are walking around the office telling everyone about that one time 5 years ago that you discovered some bad code but never fixed it, and the program has already been patched.
>If you keep debating genuinely maybe you'll change their minds
Nah, the issue is a fundamental disagreement about the nature of reality. Debating with theists is like debating with people who think the sky is green, it doesn't matter what arguments you use, they disagree at such a fundamental level that you will never convince them.
Also it's not like I have any reason to really care if people on a Fulani pottery forum believe in Christianity, it's just shitposting.
>Debating with theists is like debating with people who think the sky is green
This is no different than debating with someone who insists that the sky is akhdar. If they insist on calling it akhdar, then let them call it akhdar. But to say that Akhdar does not exist, when they can clearly see it, is foolish. Understand what their view of akhdar is, and teach them what you know about the color blue. In this way, we race to what is good, and life is full of flavor.
>it's not like I have any reason to really care
Good luck
no. Babies and young children of God are not in danger of damnation.
Source?
>Source?
A child of God who received the Word of God and sees the Kingdom of Heaven.
>No the bible and word of the apostles doesn’t support my claim but I would feel bad if I was wrong.
Based moron
You will not see the Kingdom of Heaven in a book or hear the living Word of God while not in communion with fellow children of God. There is no God of a book and Christianity is of God.
>Jesus died for our sins and unless we worship him we’ll go to hell
Let me try and translate:
The salvation granted by good judgement dies when we commit errors, and unless we assign worth to the salvation granted by good judgment, we go to a bad place.
Does that make more sense in your language?
How do you define good judgement? I see plenty of Christians who live in poverty or generally have shitty lives.
>define good judgement
In the context of "judgment", change the semantics of the word "you", to mean "us", then judge the cosmos with an objective to thrive.
So Christians mostly have bad judgement and you should probably do the opposite of what them and the bible say?
I'd need to see some statistics to back up this comment, but if there is a correlation between what you are defining as "Christian" and a tendency twords hypocrisy, then I would agree that they are not following the teachings of Jesus Christ.
In Europe countries with more Christians have lower GDPs, average lifespans, and gini coefficients with greater wealth inequality and higher crime rates.
That's an interesting observation. You should get your statistic, and present them to others. Together, we might be able to solve a problem.
I think this board is severely lacking in the knowledge that even when society was way more religious it was a really small part of life. Peoples happiness always came from their relationships and meeting goals, doing fun things with friends and family and accomplishments.
People went to church because they thought god was real and wanted to go to heaven, they weren’t doing it because they didn’t know how to be happy in their free time or how to enjoy a promotion.
A bird will fly, a fish will swim and a child of God will be of the Kingdom of Heaven regardless of the personal journey of each.
Because it is their nature to be of what they are.
>God isn't required for happiness
Whay does "God" mean to you?
Atheists don't seem happy to me. Some of them are, but most of them seem to be trying to fill a hole with personal possessions or social media clout.
Sounds like most Christians, like most people. Almost like most people derive fulfillment through worldly accomplishments whether dollars, likes, followers, or people converted.
If only there was something other than our limbic brain to guide us.
Babies don't know belief or dislbelief or think verbally at that point
Yes, they don't believe in God. That's OP's point.
>they don't believe in God
And they would die without God, because they are weak and stupid, and God lifts them up and feeds them and keeps them warm. Without god, they would die.
