When they say "wisdom comes with age" but all evidence points toward aging impeding the learning process as you get stuck hardwired in routine leading to irrational fear of change your brain being unable to process it leading to funny scenes of old people unable to send simple emails even after being taught how to do it multiple times.
The wisest men are those still in their late golden years 35~40 all that comes after that is slow decay and death with a lot of coping. The dying have no wisdom and breed only despair, let them rot in silence

crystallized (stored) and fluid (processing speed.) The old have the former, the young have the latter. Soon it won't matter, because Ai will replace both. How will you define your worth in the face of this superior intelligence?

I mean it is one thing to Call him our Lord. But he wants us to walk with him. Hell is not made for us, but if we do not want to be with God, then we are judged to be as such and cast. But I walk with God not of of fear, but of love.
But there will be a time when the wicked are judged for they do not want his grace.

            Anonymous

I walk with the Lord because I do believe his ethical principles are the best and will bring the most peace to a person, I also recognize that God is good company based on his character shown in the new testament, so I do love Jesus in that way, thus I see it as working for good.

But I would be lying if I said him being all powerful and hell being very real wasn't a factor in my decision making to seek his mercy and follow in his footsteps.

So mostly a discipleship of love, but also elements of respecting him and slightly fearing him in his true power.

Some type of existentialism for me. I don’t know what to tell you man, you get over it as you get older. Not crippling, if it starts to bother you a couple times a year you just remind yourself to do your best because this life is all you’ve got.
Wish I left Christianity earlier so I could have dealt with it at a younger age.

Atheist here: We don't have high priests and most of us (myself included) don't believe human technology will help achieve immortality within any current adult's life. I get that you want to drag atheists down to your level, but saying atheism is a religion is like saying vegetarianism is a meat based diet. There are atheistic religions and there are irreligious theists.

I'm completely unconcerned about being dead, or what happens after (nothing). I only worry about the same stuff anyone else does. Namely not wanting to die a stupid death, a scary death, or an unjust death. Or, you know, an altogether too early death.

Believing you'll go to Heaven afterward doesn't really answer for those fears anyway, so I guess I'm probably coping in the same ways as those who do believe. Like taking comfort in the fact that those kinds of deaths are not so terribly likely.
