Anon the state denies them access to healthcare turning them into demented cripples begging for death
>destruction is...le bad!
Why? When I die, my corpse will feed the worms, who will fulfill their role in the ecosystem by dispersing nutrients or being food for something else. My death will be a giver of life, just as my life has been a giver of death for the animals I've consumed. Circle of life, baby.
You're going to be destroyed OP
A troony may think he is a woman, but he will ultimately be a man, anyways.
You may think a israeli sorceror will make you immortal, but you will ultimately be destroyed, anyways.
I've almost died several times and I have no fear of death. You're just projecting your own misplaced cowardice much like people who got fat after 30 tell fit people that it will happen to them too.

If half the world started using the word, "zeus" to describe lighting, then I would hear them, and relate to them. I wouldn't make up my own language, and say, "lol, zeus isn't real".

You got such a weird view of language
Zeus is a big guy that lives on a mountain
When they say "wisdom comes with age" but all evidence points toward aging impeding the learning process as you get stuck hardwired in routine leading to irrational fear of change your brain being unable to process it leading to funny scenes of old people unable to send simple emails even after being taught how to do it multiple times.
The wisest men are those still in their late golden years 35~40 all that comes after that is slow decay and death with a lot of coping. The dying have no wisdom and breed only despair, let them rot in silence
There are two forms of intelligence.
crystallized (stored) and fluid (processing speed.) The old have the former, the young have the latter. Soon it won't matter, because Ai will replace both. How will you define your worth in the face of this superior intelligence?
>God creates a magical realm where souls of people he doesn't like are burned and tortured for all eternity >If you can worship him hard enough and promise to love him forever he might reward you by "saving" you from this fate that he himself created.
Wow, thanks for nothing.
That's not accepting the premise, that's a flat denial.
Well anon as far as I can tell we're all slaves of something, I'd rather be slave of the ultimate good than evil.
But tell me if you would be so inclined, what motivates you? What is your end goal?

I have multiple goals that motivate me, and the values I seek to pursue those goals are in opposition to Christianity. I don’t see meekness, rendering unto ceaser, and turning the other cheek as virtues.

I mean it is one thing to Call him our Lord. But he wants us to walk with him. Hell is not made for us, but if we do not want to be with God, then we are judged to be as such and cast. But I walk with God not of of fear, but of love.
But there will be a time when the wicked are judged for they do not want his grace.

I walk with the Lord because I do believe his ethical principles are the best and will bring the most peace to a person, I also recognize that God is good company based on his character shown in the new testament, so I do love Jesus in that way, thus I see it as working for good.
But I would be lying if I said him being all powerful and hell being very real wasn't a factor in my decision making to seek his mercy and follow in his footsteps.
So mostly a discipleship of love, but also elements of respecting him and slightly fearing him in his true power.
I think it's mostly just being able to grow as a person and not cling on to some 2000 year old worldbuilding story.
do you fear the state of being before you were born?
Some type of existentialism for me. I don’t know what to tell you man, you get over it as you get older. Not crippling, if it starts to bother you a couple times a year you just remind yourself to do your best because this life is all you’ve got.
Wish I left Christianity earlier so I could have dealt with it at a younger age.
they do though, they think their high priests in The Science will attain immortality from andrenochrome and give them exclusive access because they've been an obedient servant in their evil kingdom.
no that is a strawman you create so you don't have to actually debate what their real beliefs are, that you only maintain by having very minimal social interactions
Atheist here: We don't have high priests and most of us (myself included) don't believe human technology will help achieve immortality within any current adult's life. I get that you want to drag atheists down to your level, but saying atheism is a religion is like saying vegetarianism is a meat based diet. There are atheistic religions and there are irreligious theists.
>no that is a strawman you create so you don't have to actually debate what their real beliefs are, that you only maintain by having very minimal social interactions >You’re just making up a strawman because you can’t actually contend with our actual answers. Frickin pussy
By making my life enjoyable. It’s like you’re asking how do I cope with a vacation knowing it will end. I don’t stay in my hotel room all day.
Use your time wisely, which I don’t think includes making AI art of Ricky Gervais to try and scare people into Christianity
Nonsense it could be that Necoho the god of atheism is the true God and will torture any believers in any god forever while giving Atheists everlasting paradise. It’s an absurd premise but so is Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Shintoism, Egyptian Polytheism, ancestor worship, and Wicca.
>Why do you need to assign value to words that are describing forces that shape the natural world, in order to make good choices, when we had a love of wisdom far before hand?
Because 50% of the world is abrahamic, and we should not assign worth to their nomenclature in vanity.
>philosophy
How about agapesophy? Should we be like, live like, and be alive like, those others who claim to be right? Or should we experience our own erossophy, and forge our own path, like the those who are left behind?
Peter, who is the foundation, admits that he loves in the sense of philo, and this reality saddens him. Jesus Christ, however, loves with agape, and that's what makes him supernatural, and worthy of praise.

how low IQ do you have to be to believe in g*d? It's a litmus test for moronation. I don't have to know anything else about you to know you are a subhuman double digit IQ "person" as soon as I know you are religious
I'm completely unconcerned about being dead, or what happens after (nothing). I only worry about the same stuff anyone else does. Namely not wanting to die a stupid death, a scary death, or an unjust death. Or, you know, an altogether too early death.
Believing you'll go to Heaven afterward doesn't really answer for those fears anyway, so I guess I'm probably coping in the same ways as those who do believe. Like taking comfort in the fact that those kinds of deaths are not so terribly likely.
saved from what?
Destruction
Destruction is not that bad honestly, a lot of old people desire it.

>How does an atheist cope with death
Believing in an afterlife is a cope. You can also cope by enjoying your one finite life to the fullest.
They think that Bill Gates or Elon will invent immortality and they'll be saved on their death beds. That's legit how they think.
Wrong. Don’t expect that to happen in my lifetime.
except they don't

He’s right, your childish drawings mean shit. You have no argument, only impotent moaning.
Why even cope if there's nothing I can do about it?
You can repent.
It wouldn't be sincere.
How does anyone? A lot of people are religious precisely because they are afraid of death.
Who says you need a God to be saved?
God himself?
How do theists cope with the idea of heaven? Why do you think eternal life comes without consequence?
i'lll just be happy to be done with this shit i'm fricking over it
There's nothing to cope with

Nice food
